  1. Hi, got another update today that the card was mailed, but I didn't receive a tracking number...does that come later? Best of luck to everyone still waiting - and coolmind1414 I hope you find it!

    Congratulations verunne,

You will get USPS tracking in a day or two.

I am very sure that mine got lost. because many times, I see someone else's mail in my mailbox. Also, we live in a community over 3000 units. surely gone.

USCIS asked me to wait for 30 days before opening a case. sucks.

    but again, Congrats...

  2. I was supposed to get my GC last week. But somehow USPS misplaced the mail. The tracking number says that my card was placed in mailbox. but there was none.

I live in the zipcode XYZ36 and tracking details shows that it was delivered in the mailbox at XYZ48 zipcode.

I opened the case with them. let's see

    should I be worried?

    any suggestions guys?

I am freaking out. USPS case opened already, but no updates as of yet. I've been calling, but seems like they will update the case by latest tomorrow morning.

  3. Everyone,

I have my cousin applying for Visitor Visa.

I am currently GC holder. And I was wondering what documents should I provide?

the visa agent office(who helps collect all documents, and sends to visa consulate) had asked my cousin to ask me these documents

    INVITEE DOCUMENTATION
    1--INVITATION LETTER
2-- SALARY SLIPS OF LAST 3 MONTHS
    3-- 6 MONTHS BANK STATMENT
    4--PASSPORT ZEROX WITH VISA COPY
    5-- RENTAL AGREEMENT
    6--SOCIAL SECUIRTY NO
    7--CO APPOINTMENT LETTER
    8-- CO VISITING CARD
I trust my cousin, but not the agent. what should I do?
also, what should I write in sample invitation letter?
do I need to fill form I-134?
    Please help. Thanks in advance.
  4. BTW whats your status shows?

    mine shows

On December 24, 2014, we received your Form CRI-89, Petition to Remove Conditions of Permanent Resident Status Received, Receipt Number WAC*********, and sent you the receipt notice that describes how we will process your case. Please follow the instructions in the notice. If you do not receive your receipt notice by January 23, 2015, please call Customer Service at 1-800-375-5283. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.

  5. I was wondering the same thing myself. Coolmind, you may want to rethink that before you provide all of your personal information to your cousin. Just a word of caution as that sounds a bit fishy.

He went to visit an agency who helps prepare all of documentation and processes. And they suggested to have that as a positive point. mentioning that he has someone in US to stay with, and I can take them to visit many places etc etc

Also, I trust my cousin. Not an issue.

But the agency who asked for it, not them.

  6. I have a cousin who's planning to visit USA on Tourist visa. I am in the middle of "Remove Condition on GC". He has asked me to provide all my documents (tax returns, pay stubs, invitation letter saying I'll take care of all his expenses etc). And I really want to help him out. Also I am the one offering any help he needed, and only then he asked me for these documents. Does this affect me at any point? in case of "Removing condition on my GC" or getting citizenship or anything?

  7. Hello Friends,

I am asking for help for one of my friend.

    Age 30

    Masters in Geology

Work Experience: 5-6 years in his field (Geology)

    Current resident: India

    IELTS 6 to 6.5 bands

He's thinking to apply for Canadian PR.

As the rule changes every now and then, he's not sure if he's eligible to go there with his current status

He doesn't want to go for student visa..

What would be the safest and quickest way to go to Canada with PR? No region restriction from his side, he can go anywhere in Canada.

    Please help

  8. Thanks everyone for supporting and providing knowledge when needed.

I am almost done with check list. Still, few questions...

    1) Do I need to provide passport size pictures? I did not see that information on i-751

    2) In the documents, where do I put change of address documents?

    3) Do I staple/u-pin each set of documents? or should I keep everything unattached, and finally attach paper clips to hold all documents together?

Thanks in advance, ready to mail once I get few questions cleared.
