If u r OK with poverty line as required by them then u don't need bank statement or other assets mention in affidavit.

I checked our case status everyday hoping to get approved. I was getting depressed because it's been 90 days. I called them today and they told me it is going to take atleast 5 months. But I kept refreshing the page and there.... around 2000, I saw that we got approved .=) Yay! I didn't receive a text or email this time...

So what's the next step?:=)

Congrtz on ur approval, wait for to get approval NOA-2 to ur mailng address, n USCIS will forward it to NVC, they will send u letter n they will forward it to concern embassy for an interview..........best of luck

can one handwrite on the ds 156 form if you forgot to type in electronically(i forgot to type in "state/province" in #2)?? or will it cause trouble?

Better i suggest you to print ur form DS-156 again, it wont cost u anything i guess...in order to avoid any confussion in CO's mind at the time of interview.....BEST OF LUCK

its online process which will take just a minute to get change ur mailing address.

On the DS-160 it says I need to show an "evidence of approved I-129F". I figured this is the NOA2.

But on my case, we have not received our NOA2 hard copy yet.

Is there anything that I can give them for now since I can't provide that yet to them.

Can I show them the letter from NVC stating that our approved case wil soon be transferred to USEM Montreal? will they accept that? or the Printed copy of the status update on the USCIS stating that our approved case was forwarded to DOS for visa processing?

Are there somebody out there who have the same case like me? Please help.. Thank you very much..

Congrtz guys, now u will get NOA-2 in ur mail address n USCIS will forward it to NVC, so after getting ur NOA-2 keep calling to NVC n get ur case number, after NVC, they will forward your case to concern Embassy....best of luck...

Its more than 8 weeks..when you get case number from nvc?

I got case number in 12 days after approval....its all papers work game n headache but believe me its worth to be together for forever.....

How many months from noa2 to packet 3 you get?

see we got NOA-2 on 17th of May n i got my packet 3 at the end of July, so its about 2 n half months..

The ds156k says attach evidence of engagement. Surely they aren't talking about the proof of an ongoing relationship because there is too much to attach. So, at the interview, when do you turn in the proof of ongoing relationship? Do they need to see it before they call your name for the interview? Thanks.
