I got a baby who needs a surgery and we need to go to states but they denied our expedite request.. we did everything already, we ask help from Congress, Senator, Ombudsman, and Infopass.. No luck at all.. I am a MARCH FILER , and I AM NOT GIVING UP!... Just dont think how long you are waiting , but think how far you had accomplished waiting this far..I know its frustrating, I am with you .. I am a tough woman! and my inspiration is my spouse who is fighting also to get me and my son in the states.. So hang in there.. you will get the approval soon!

I know your are sad, but hang in there. Mine was just approved last week after 10 months. My filing date was mid march. So please try to be patient. NVC is working very hard so you guys will be approved soon. The way I think about the process is like going to my job. I plan how my day is going to be when I get in the office. I even outline all the tasks that I hope to complete, then out of nowhere I run into obstacles, disruptions, unanticipated conferences and I leave at the end of the day feeling like nothing was accomplished.

I am sorry to hear this..My husband is a USC, we did expedition when we were in our 7th month stage, as baby needs to have surgery in the states.. We contacted senator, congress, ombudsman even the USCIS did not help us at all. Now I am in my 10th month already and still waiting.. I know God gave me a lot of understanding and patience and I hope you whatever it is always think that ur situation is not that worse as comparison to mine or other filers here.. Pray Pray Pray is all I can say.. =)

Ok, I am going to say this one more time, and I hope next time people read before making comments. No one is attacking or blaming any kids, so relax, please. Nobody is saying that they should be deported or anything like that. All we are saying is that the same way the US goverment is eager to find easier ways for them to be forgiven even if they break the law, and they do, whether you want to hear it or not, the should be doing the same with US citizens that are filing a petition and following the rules. It doesn't bother me if they get to become lawful residents, great for them!! But I consider that all of us doing things right deserve the same considerations. Is that really that hard to understand? A lot of people here have been waiting for over a year and they are still waiting. Is that ok? No, it's not. And that is why we are complaining. Again, it's not against people, it's against the way USCIS and the US goverment deal with all of these.
If you want to be patient, great for you, I've been patient too, waited the time I had to wait and more. I don't know what your situation is, but a lot of us don't get the opportunity to visit our spouses in the US and a lot of us have children too. And we deserve better than is. You just filed last October. Let me tell you that you start losing hope later down the road, hope you don't have to wait that long.
If you have something to say that may help our cause, bring it up, I'd love to hear you. But criticizing for the sake of it doesn't help anybody.

I dont think mostly all the October filers have been approved. Of the statistics just from this site (which are a sliver of the actual cases) less than 40% have been approved for October. You can see that here:

Not even Sept filers are at 50%.
We have the same NOA1 date. If we got an approval now, I would be over the moon but I am in no way expecting it til Jan. And even then, we are lucky lucky lucky!
