Yeah, but my interview date isn't until the 16 July.

I don't believe everything until I have my passport back with the stamp. Until than I worry too.

Before I have my interview, you will received your date too.

Lets look at this differently to get some hope back.

May 16 to June 16 = one month = 20 working days. It means nothing more than them working the full 20 working days on it.

Now your 230 is still in process....you waiting for both. And both will be done around the same time.

Now you call back for both on Friday. It changes so quickly.

If you feel panic/worry and have too much time on hands, just call NVC ask them if they received your RFE second divorce original paper. I know they did otherwise they wouldn't closed your case, but what the heck you have too loose here?. This will ease your mind and relax until your interview date come.

I don't see why they would reject IR-5 unless any person involved in the case had some sort of criminal records.

They have my papers. Its what I asked them when they closed my case.

You know...I wonder if this had something to do with my calling the NVC in the morning.

I asked if their computer showed interview date. The woman said no. (I always keep talking something nice)

Than I asked if its possible for her to enter the information that I am ready for interview. (of course she couldn't)

But maybe she did made a note after we talked nicely,

because in the evening I received the interview appointment.

I feel panick. Only 5 weeks away to interview. Didin't they know I have lots of time? I marked the day in red to make me truly nervous.

Yeah...I don't need to worry about this document. It was a checklist requested one. They wouldn't have closed my case if they hadn't received it.

Congrat on receiving good news on your interview date.

About status on your package 4, I think at the time they entered in the system is what they have and see at giving time. If you read the document again it does say.......if you haven't submit the required documents to NVC you must bring it with you on interview date. In this case you did send both copy (1st time) & original (second time) so no need to panic here. Also NO NEED to contact NVC from this point on.....it already stated clearly in the package 4.........from here on NVC has nothing to do with your case, if you have any questions or concern, you will need to contact the Embassy directly. I would contact the Embassy and explain breifly about your situation instead of NVC.

After reading instructions on appointment letter....they stated on document name: marriage termination...the document status: "A" (applicant is to provide marriage termination at date of interview)

Are they kidding me...they received my original and wouldn't close my case until they received it.

I wrote to NVCINQUIRE (supervisor review) I hope this is just a misprint.

Any advice?????

I called NVC this morning. No interview date scheduled as of yet.

I was told the scheduling depence on the capacity of the embassy. (Which says "free spot")

Its been only 4 working days after case complete. Hahahaha....

Its not adviceable. Its different for every country.

Call your medical office and and ask.

Make sure your case at NVC is closed first.

I did mine only in advance because the mediacal is good for such a long time.

How did you do the medical before you get interview date?

I called the medical office and asked "How far in advance I can take the medical before interview"

For Germany they said close to one year in advance, maybe it was 6 month. (I can't remember)

After I was done they send the medical to the embassy, and this is where it will be pulled when my interview day is.

I have missed few vaccination when i was teenage , will they advice me to have those missed vaccination before i go for interview or it will delay my visa?

After they see what is missed, you still can have it done with the regular doctor. Get it done before visa medical.

It only delays your interview if you don't pass the medical.

As I recall. Usually all vaccinations are done by the time we're 14 years. This is how I remember with my children.

Teenage girls have the HPV shoots done....Well...this of course didn't apply to me anymore.

I went to see the doctor and had my blood drawn...he simply checked through blood testing what I was vaccinated against.

(this test shows everything you ever been vaccinated against since childhood)

He then given me a new record on my vaccination.

The only thing I up-date is my tetanus shoot every ten years.

coz if they see something in your x-ray even if you dont have any TB history your case will be delayed for another 2 months.. there are those that even if they had a negative xray test result done before the actual medical exam, still the hospital asked them to do the sputum test.. coz they find out something whatever in their lungs.. and for me 2 months of delay seem to be the end of the world...or maybe at that time im already in mental hospital..LOL

This sounds severe testing. I didn't have to submit to sputum. Don't worry to much about what happened to other people.

You can't compare their health to yours.

July 11 is 4 weeks away. This is pretty good.

hello everyone. i already have an interview date and just waiting for the days to come for my medical exam. i still lack one supporting document but they said i just have to bring it on the interview. please pray for me that i will pass the medical exam. the waiting gave me so much stress that i feel sick, emotionally, physically and i think mentally too. LOL. may God be with us always.

The medical isn't a big deal. When I did mine...

I peed in a cup (guess drug testing)

Blood pressure (don't drink to much coffee before) hahah..

They took some blood (checked for sexual diseases) So I was told.

Bring your vaccination records (show your up- to date with all)

X-ray of the lung

Than a doctor checked my eye sight and overall health.

Check with your embassy how far in advance you can take it and call the medical office with the same question (just for good measure)

Mine is good for one year, and my medical records are now with the embassy until my interview.

Forgot: I filled out regular questionairy. Health history.

yes, that's what i said... in my case, 7 days before the interview... actually at least... some would even have their medical exam even if their case hasnt been closed yet in NVC.. coz they worry much about that x-ray test... and i am worried too.. coz if i wont pass, another 2 months delay... or maybe more.. :'(. but i know i will... (thinking positive)

What worries you about your x-ray. Mine was done for TB because I can't have the actual test done. But I do this x-ray all my life.
