  1. I am not ridiculing you. I am trying to help you and all you say is "I already did that!"

You can know exactly what is needed by printing off all of the forms listed in the guide. All the ones you need are right there, on that list.

Here, I will copy/paste for you. The guide says:

    Download the Following Forms:

    1. G-325a

    2. I-864

    3. I-485

    4. I-765 (optional)

    5. I-131 (optional)

    6. G-1145 (optional)

I stated all those forms (minus the G1145) and you said " those and some more" Thanks, but you have confused me even more. I will wait for someone who is willing to assist and has read my request.

    FINALLY for the 42905438934543th time I HAVE READ THE GUIDES AND HAVE ALL THOSE FORMS PRINTED (again, as I have stated above) - PLEASE K E E P I T M O V I N G

  2. You don't know what the forms are for when they say right at the top, "Application for employment authorization." The one that says "Application for employment authorization" at the top is an application for employment authorization. That's not irrelevant. That helps you figure it out.

The guide listed has all the forms you need listed. Then the first step is to download them and look at them.

I think you have been looking at this the wrong way for a year, if you didn't actually download the form and look at the title of it.

I am trying to help you help yourself, but you just want to argue and say you did it all when you didn't, so I won't help anymore.

    Good luck.

Names of forms do not tell me if they are needed or not... thanks for your help. I have been reading the correct information for the past year, I asked for help, not to be ridiculed. Thanks!!!

  3. All the forms are listed in the guide. The forms say at the top what they are. Did you read the thread about the shots?

I say, print out all the forms, look at them, and practice filling them in. It will become more clear through doing rather than clicking.

maybe I was not clear when I stated i have been over looking this stuff for over a year.... The titles at the top of the forms are irrelevent to me. if i dont know what I need, how exactly would that help?

Yes - I have read it.

  4. You will send a big packet with lots of forms. This is the "AOS packet." The main form is the I-485, that is an application for permanent residence.

Actually, have you looked at the forms themselves? Because it says at the top of the form what it is. You file all the forms you listed, plus a few more.

    2. If his vaccines are complete and his foreign medical was properly filled out, then he doesn't need to see a CS. If he needs vaccines, then he needs to see one. There is a thread pinned at the top of this forum all about it.

    3. When you fill out the I-864, he will no longer be your fiance. You seem to be forgetting you'll be married at that point.

Look over the instructions more. The address is clearly listed in there. It's important to read the instructions enough so that you see all the information there.

thanks. I am askng for help as I have already stated - I have been reading the guides for over a year now. what other forms? how do we know if shots are complete?

    3. When you fill out the I-864, he will no longer be your fiance. You seem to be forgetting you'll be married at that point. Really? Forgetting that I will be married? clearly not.

  5. I created a timeline on vj. I wrote my NOA1 and the timeline says when I am supposed to get my NOA2. Can you tell me on your experience, did you get NOA2 at the time which timeline told you? Or it was much later? I want to know if mostly people get NOA2 at the time that timeline says. And also if the cases that it took longer are just rare.

it's a simple estimate based on other folks completing their timelines - i think mine was about a month off.

  6. Hi - My fiancé will be here in 6 days! we are getting married on the 25th and want to Adjust status quickly. Before I get jumped - YES I have read the guides, YES I need more experienced help...because it's just not "clicking" smile.png

    1. What are the 3 or 4 forms ( 1-485, I-864, G-325A, I-765??) in order to be able to work, and travel? I know it does not make sense to file for Employment Auth once he arrives, because that expires quickly and it's a waste of money, correct? we do understand AOS can be 3-6 months. i know if you file some together, something is waved...just don’t know what.

    2. Medical Question - I don’t see anything in AOS related to the medical portion but often see folks talking about having a civil Surgeon signing some document. is this something he already has in his packet for his POE?

    3. I-864 Question - Part 1.a. I am the petitioner. I filed or and filing for the immigration of my relative - is my fiancé considered my 'relative" call me dumb, but I don’t know if this is the correct choice.

Lastly - Where do we send this stuff? I see a DC address, thats it.

Some good, solid help would be more then appreciated smile.png

  7. Hi carie,

I dnt know how to complete timeline...but anyway, my case has been re - applied, as my wife withdrew the whole petition last year by saying that we r getting separated and after like 8 months, she decided to work things out with me and re - applied the whole petition.

that may very well be the reason for your AP - the previous petition being withdrawn - and reinstated I personally see that as a "red Flag" I wish you luck - hopefully the UAE AP will move along quickly.

to add your time line go to top Right where it says your user name and has a drop doown - "my Timeline" is a option..click there and folow through.

  8. So this is second time we called and talked to another tier 2 officer and the last one we spoked with told us my husbands I 765 was approved without biometric and we got all excited he told us to wait and we will recieve notice after a couple days. BUt this time we called and this one told us nothing is approve as he see that a undeliver mail was sent back to uscis and we cant move forward until that letter is sent back to us ... 2 service request for that letter to be sent back to us and still nothing is happening he will do a third service request since the last 2 was done by tier 1 this is our 4th month waiting for biometrics and waiting for whatever letter they were trying to send us back in May that til now hasnt even been sent back out to us yet.. We schedule for info pass appointment on Aug 19 but do you guys think it's really worth it going? or could they be as useless as the phone customer service.. can it be possible they can generate a biometric for us? ANy input would be great .... thanks guys

Hey Guys :) as you know, Pearl, we are not yet to this point,,,,but what I have seen on VJ is...info pass appts seem to really help, most cases problems resolved that day or a few to follow after. Good luck I pray everytihng gets worked out - i know your going crazy at this point.

    Carie

  9. HI VJ - Please help me help a friend, she is completing her package to send to the embassy and is confused on the DS forms. on DS-156K does she send birth cert, Evidence of relationship, Evidence of finincial support, and police certs with this package or does her fiance carry them in seperatly. she asks b/c the form clearly states " THE FOLLOWING DOCS MUCT BE ATTACHED IN ORDER TO APPLY FOR A FIANCE NONIMG VISA"

    please help :)

  10. Just to add -

This was an arranged thing. but we wanted to get to know each other first so thats why we wanted to marry in March in pakistan after speaking over the phone and skype, etc. But once I got the job, I just told my new employers to hold off my start date, let me travel back for two weeks and ill come back and start. I knew i wouldn't be able to get enough time off to get married, especially the kind of marriages in pakistan that take weeks. And plus I wouldn't know anyone in the marriage

Also, when i say the parents will not attend the wedding, I mean her parents, they live in pakistan and cannot attend because of visas and stuff.

Im just suspecting the interview expects a straight forward case, and any type of issues like this, they get skeptical about it and put someone on AP for months/years only resulting in refusal for the visa at the end.

I think your fine. Islamabad is a hard one forsure. interviewing officers will try to be tricky and say your husband this your husband that...... she just needs to correct them by saying no..... fiance... not hubby yet. Expect some sort of AP (administrative processing) mostly done on folks from MENA countrys, can last few weeks to many many many months. Thats the worst case senerio

  11. Just typed in my number in the USCIS website and this is what came up.....

At this time USCIS cannot provide you with information for your case. Please contact the NCSC 1 (800) 375-5283 for additional information.

When before it just said 'initial review'.

    What's happend to my case??

If i can ever offer any advise..... it would be NEVER EVER pay uscis.gov any attention. There are many many folks who have gone through their citizenship and their status still says they are waiting for NOA 1. TO clear your head call, wait on hold for about 56 hours and ask to speak to a tier 2 officer :-)
