Received this notice: On March 3, 2014, we transferred this case I130 IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN to another office for processing and sent you a notice explaining this action. I don't know what this means, but finally some movement.
It means your case has been transferred from NBC to a Service Centre for processing, it's good news

Just put in a call about our status to the Tier 1 person at NVC (NBC? I get confused with all the acronyms). Waitiing for a call back from Tier 2.
USCIS Way to go babe xx

Just did! It took me a minute to figure out how to edit my timeline. Having a lot of trouble concentrating!
Awesome I understand, probably wouldn't be the first thing on my mind either
-
Thank you!!!!!!!
I've followed this thread since the beginning, and I can't even tell you how much VJ has helped me through six very difficult months of waiting. I moved to Algeria two months before we filed for immigration, after having met and lived with my husband in France. I was a student in Paris and he was, of all things, a fishmonger who sold me oysters at an outdoor market. He asked me if I wanted to get a drink with him, and I turned him down, only to come back an hour later and say yes. After five months of being inseparable, we got married in Paris! I then withdrew from my university to come to Algeria and be with him while we went through immigration. As I'm not authorized to work here, the months have felt like years. So that's our story.
I want nothing more than to see my fellow Sept filers transferred and approved! My husband says hello and good luck to everyone
I still can't believe this is happening! Is it because I filed from abroad?
Can you update your timeline so the data gets through the system

APPROVED POST DECISION ACTIVITY MARCH 3!!!!!!!!
I can't even believe this is happening -- freaking out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
OMG!!! That's a week after transfer! That is awesome, congratulations
-
Yay, congrats guys!!
45% done - according to the spreadsheet. Woohoo!
Woohoo!!!
-
Yes, yes, yes, we got transferred, whoop
-
Yep, just looking at the dates, they've transferred 42% of September already. At this rate, they should finish up this week (if they do 3 transfer days again).
Here's hoping
Headed to bed and hoping I wake to a text from hubby tomorrow saying we've been transferred, probably overly optimistic but hope is all we have.

Awesome! Don't forget to visit Pappasito's. I was just there on Friday! haha. Had a BFF date with pedis and dinner. It was a great way to de-stress after the day I had on Thursday.
I did mention it to hubby so hopefully we might pay a visit
-
I'm hoping my hubby will be able to visit in May. We will know for sure in a couple of weeks Praying! I miss him like crazy!
Fingers crossed
We have been lucky so far, we've barely gone more than 4-5 months without one of us visiting, sometimes it's been a shorter timeframe, but on the other hand it plays havoc with the finances, so the sooner this whole process is over the better!
-
I took a breather this weekend and forgot about it. Just preparing for hubs to be here on Friday, that is all I'm focused on now!
Nice to have something else to think about, if only for a couple of weeks, me and hubby have been planning things for my trip over there in April, it's a welcome relief to focus on something other than visas and timelines
-
Hope today is the day for our missing dates - 9/11 - 9/19! C'monnnnn lucky number 13!
Oh gosh I do hope so
-
I'm working there now. I'm approving ALL the petitions!!!!
You go girl

4th month checking in.. Who
Would have thought the Nvc process would take longer than the uscis!! Responded to checklist first week of February and still haven't heard anything:/ in the US now, gotta leave by the last of April so I need an interview date before that! Don't want to leave my family without knowing when my interview is..
4 months - geez!!!!!

AND transferred to TSC in Nov.
Weird, right? Oh well
Very weird!!!

Her PD is 10/7. Approved 2/21. No DCF, not filed from abroad, not for F2A visa, not AOS, not an expedite.
I'm baffled.
Lucky her, though!
That what I said to her!
-
Could it be that NBC goes by PDs, and service centers- by Receipt Dates?
*confused and annoyed*
Who knows
I don't think any October transfers have happened. Later October filers were sent directly to service centers. And I'm pretty sure that early approval was an expedite. Never can tell with uscis though!
I asked the girl who posted in the FAcebook group if she was an expedite, she said no, however, I don't know about whether their case was transferred or not.
-
That's normal.
I think some people gave me their NOA date originally, not their PD. Either that or people's timelines are off...
I think it's perhaps because when you start to fill in your timeline it asks for the notice date for the NOA1 so there are slight differences between that and priority date
-
I got my first e-mail Monday night and received the hard copy in the mail on Friday.
Urbangirluk, do you know if that Oct approval was an expedite? I think it was around mid-October that I-130s went directly to the service center as opposed to NBC.
They said not, it was someone who posted in the Facebook group so maybe they did go direct to the service centre

Thank you . I am glad to have you all here...The day will come when this will be over.
That day cannot come too soon, but in the meantime we have to try and keep as sane as possible, we can get through this
-
I am still trying to get over my transfer at NSC :(
I feel for ya
-
They have a missing week to take care of!!!!
Yup, we're in there, hope they don't forget about us :-/
I see some October cases have been transferred and at least one has been approved
