I know it's going to be longer since I'm in the US and my wife is in Japan. Each day should be one step closer to us being together. But right now...not knowing what's going on...it feels like we're just being pushed further and further apart. My only wish is to have her with me. Any bit of news I can get I will take. Even if it is just finding out my case was transferred to a field office...at least I would know something.

Did you call USCIS to find out if your case been transferred to Newark?

Photographs of us together at various stages of our relationship such as those takin at the wedding n those include parent, relatives n friends, copies of correspondence between the petitioner n beneficiary, documentary evidence of travel between the two countries of residence establishing the continuing n ongoing nature of the relationship. This evidence is not all inclusive; it is suggested that you submit any other evidence that u feel will help the uscis to determine that you n your spouse have a bona-fide marital relationship.

I am a New Zealander who graduated last May from a US university with a degree in marketing, since then I have been back in NZ working. I have a long time american girlfriend who I have been in a long distance relationship with since then and who is attending graduate school this July.

While I was in the US I obtained a SSN as well as a drivers license and even paid some taxes during an OPT.

I have been applying to be a graduate assistant and get my MBA starting in June for some time now but so far I only have prospects available for January of next year.

I was wondering if anyone has any advice for me in my position and any recommendations for what my best course of action would be. I would love to be able to work in the same city as my girlfriend until I can continue with my education and get my MBA but options in doing this seem limited and confusing from what I've gathered.

I still have some professional connections in the US who could help me get in the door for an interview at their companies but I'm not sure if this would be enough and if they would be willing to sponsor someone with relatively little experience.

I want to visit in May on a temporary 90 day visa and possible do some job interviews while I'm there, but following that I don't know what I could do once the time runs out.

Some advice would be hugely appreciated. I am happy to provide additional information that I've missed that could in any way affect my options.

First of all to work in US, you need to get a work visa which as above user said would be H1b. Now here is the situation, if you want to study you need a F1 so it is very hard for you to opt that option while working. Seems you have already used your OPT so you do not have that option anymore. CPT might work but then you have to study for a year and if your college permits, you can get a CPT and work. CPT and OPT laws used to be different but after Paki and Bhangladeshi F1 visa holders were caught plotting terrorist attack, CPT and OPT requirements are strict.

There is a documentary on this particular issue. There are so many Cambodians out there who faced deportation. Please watch the documentary and you will get all your answers. I think they have about 4 to 5 stories covered.

Hi. My police verification etc. has been complete and i was told it was sent back to the Passport office on 7th March 2013. The status on passportindia website still hasn't changed. Does anybody know how long it takes for the status to update so I can pick up my PCC. Any way to Expedite it?

I have register address and created profile. I also selected below address to collect passport. My question What document they asked when my father goes to collect passport after interview visa approved (if) ? Is above address is VFS office ?

I went to the same office couple of times, so yes, address is correct.

Well they would wanna see your passport copies, notarize letter saying that he is your father and he will be picking up your visa. One of my family member picked up my passport, but it was long time ago. VFS Ahemadabad is pain in the*****..... Do not trust them, call them ask them what they need from you so that your father can pick your passport.
