    hello everyone,

does anyone know/can help me with the following concerns

    a. when we applied we submitted the AOS(tax documents), however, due to the long wait at ISL embassy now that our interview has finally been scheduled should I submit most recent documents even though embassy didn't mention but it has been 2+ years since we submitted the tax returns that got approved.

    b. medical exam: The embassy is saying take the records of your immunization to your appointment. However, the doctor in Pakistan is saying just bring Polio+Covid records.

If anyone has had a recent interview/know this info please help us out as we have already waited 3 years and dont want to delay the process more due to technicality.

    Much appreciated.

Yes upload all current AOS and other Tax documents etc. and also carry along to show at the interview, officer will ask about those certainly.

Hey guys our interview was May 12 for IR1 and was cancelled because of Poltics, now it is rescheduled to May 31 I had arrived in Pakistan may 20 and intended on leaving may 30 my ticket is purchased.

if the interview for Ir1 is may 31st can we guess when they will give my wife her visa?

how long have other females waited for their visa? Should I extend my ticket? And if so how long I would like to know how quick other females have received their visa once the interview was approved?

Most of times Females are able to skip their AP process, so if your wife is Approved on the interview day then she can get her passport back in 5-10 working days. Now you do the math. Good Luck.

You have no complete information about your child's situation.

Assuming you applied for a US passport for a child under 18 years old because you have naturalized as a US citizen, know that by derivative citizenship law if a child is a permanent resident and under 18, and then at least one parent naturalizes, the child automatically becomes a U.S. citizen. If a parent naturalizes and then the child gets permanent residence, the child becomes a U.S. citizen the moment they become a permanent resident, if that happens before the child is 18. Stepchildren may not derive citizenship from a stepmother or stepfather under this provision.

So please clarify are you worried again if your child is going to get approved for a passport before she turns 18 years old?

This is not to be construed as legal advice.

Thank you for your reply, actually asked an attorney , date of naturalization counts.

Officer told my wife that she has to go through the residency days calculations and will approve later.

Actually my wife was denied because of 57 days short on her physical residency in her first N-400 interview on  11/9/2022,

it was miscalculation on our part as officer mentioned that my wife stayed 491 days and she would have stayed 548 days  to be eligible.

Therefore she was denied that time and now this time she has 600 days of presence in US on the day of submitting N-400 (11/10/2022).

That is the story of the day and Insha Allah this time our Attorney made right calculation., She need 548 and now got 600.
