First, you should always make sure to tell everybody on VJ every time Chinook does something wrong like that. She definitely needs to do everything just like you do it.
Second, I believe the ice cream problem is a tribal issue. You should probably consult the village elders for help with that. Let them know how she's been acting and see what advice they give. Buy boats if necessary. But, again, make sure that everybody on VJ knows all the details.
Third, your Filipina eats ice cream? My Filipina eats ice cream too? That must mean all Filipinas eat ice cream. But, my Filipina doesn't really go for vanilla. Does that mean mine is the conservative, province Filipina or did I get one of the liberal, big city Filipinas?
Fourth, I must stress this to you one more time. Always share with us whenever Chinook does something wrong. This is the key to a happy marriage; sharing private issues with total strangers.

I don't want to give marriage advice. Neither Jessa nor I has ever been married before and I'm not sure we're doing it right. We've yet to talk about all of our cultural differences; we mostly just try to get along with each other. It's working so far, but that's just us. I know we should work harder on discussing all of our cultural (and tribal) differences but right now we're just enjoying all the things we have in common. But again, that's just us.
With that being said,I do find it hard to believe that from the following list of foods, you can't find some compromise and find some things that both of you like:

How about you, Mr. Boat? Do you consider yourself "normal"? Your wife and the food are not the problem. The problem is an abnormal personality disorder. Go figure! Need a mirror?

Why can't you let your wife cook the type of meal she is comfortable with and just go with it if you're such a concerned spouse?
Is that too big of a sacrifice to make ?or why won't you let her cook her own food , you go get your fast food and eat at home like normal regular human being ?
You are the first person I have seen within the past two years who has made whole new post about his wife's pregnancy cravings.
Who cares?no really, do you think anyone cares?yes coming to the states is an adjustment but it's one we the beneficiaries have chosen to make, stop pestering her

When he was first on this website, Darren was whining about getting his petition expedited due to a grave humanitarian emergency: Gretchen was eating only fish, rice, vegetables, and fruit.
Darren vowed to work with the U.S. Congress to get the humanitarian rules changed so that Gretchen could come to the U.S. quickly and start eating burgers, buffalo wings, and sloppy joes...you know...health food!
I wonder how much progress Darren is making with Congress...

Not trying to be mean, just reacting to your rationale. When your wife was still in the Philippines, she wasn't expose to the kind of food here. So, getting pregnant before she could explore the culture esp. the food here, would be a struggle for her because she is sensitive to smell and taste. Then you keep exposing her to crappy foods that are not appetizing. Rather than going to the store and buy fresh food and cook it, you opt for unhealthy fastfood. The time you spent on convincing her to eat with your above mentioned restaurant would be enough to grab something healthy in the store and cook. Let her cook, and join her to eat what she wanted, so you don't keep dragging her to eat the food you wanted that seems to be crappy. Unless, your wife doesn't know how to cook, then that would be unlikely esp you said she came from barrio. Usually barrio doesn't have fastfood, people there cook their daily food.

    5 Most Common Reasons
Since childhood, most people must have had collectibles that they wanted to collect. The things people usually collect are those that they found interesting and meaningful to them. Collectibles can range from free stuff like leaves, rocks, shells, stamps, and bottle caps, to those that cost money like action figures, figurines, t-shirts, plastic and models. Collectibles can be anything, really, as long as the person who collects them believe they are worth collecting.
So what are the reasons why people collect them?
Satisfaction – We have to admit, some people simply love collecting things. Adding another piece to a collection gives the right amount of satisfaction for any collector. The feeling of accomplishment is much, much greater when the collection is completed.
Interest – Some people collect things that hold their interest. Some examples include plastic models for mecha (giant robot) fans or figurines for those who like cute stuff such as Precious Moments figurines. Some people’s collections would include those that are currently in style or fashionable for that period of time. The problem with following fads when collecting is that when it becomes out of date, interest in the collectibles drop drastically.
Fun – Collectibles can be fun to collect and some people do it for that reason alone. It is especially nice to see one’s collection growing and like what people would say in a party, the more the merrier.
Trading – Some people prefer to collect stuff that they know they’ll earn a profit from by trading with other people. Alternatively, there are those who collect things that they know they can use to trade for stuff that can be added to their own collection.
Selling – There are people who sell completed sets of collectibles for a high price as can be seen in many online trading sites. Some pieces, such as the rare, unique, or limited ones can also fetch a good price. People who sell pieces or whole sets can either be collectors who are just after the satisfaction of completing them and want to make a profit, or are simply in it just to make money.
The above are just some of the most common reasons but there are others as well. Have you ever had your own collection? If you have, what was the reason you did?
