Moving to NY - Can I exchange my Ontario driver licence to NY one?

If yes then what is the process like?

They will give you 3 envelopes one for immigration one for your lawyer and one for you, they all contain the same information

How do you know if you passed the medicals? Cause i understand that the envelope is sealed...

I have my interview scheduled for late November 2012 and wanted my fiance and our son to join me.

Has anyone brought their fiance or children that are US citizens with them to the interview?

I saw in the packet 4 email that it is possible for a US citizen to accompany me to the interview however on the CSC site couldn't find any thing mentioned about it.

Problem is I didnt get my package 3 yet.

Should I start working on it AND send it even though I didn't get it yet?

From the sounds of it, you are looking at the NOA2...which says "I-797, Notice Of Action" at the top. Is that correct? You should receive another letter from the National Visa Center which has an MTL number on it.

The letter your fiance received should have the case number on it. The first 3 letters is the location. If you do not have it, I would call NVC and get the number.

Is the A# by our names considered to be the file # ?

My I129F was approved 2 weeks ago and in the letter my fiance received it says they will send it to Toronto consulate.

How can I get medicals, Police clearance etc if I don't have my case/file # in the local consulate?

I guess I will have to take a trip to Montreal at some point :-)

We filled our I129f petition for fiance and got approved. Our case was sent to the Toronto consulate last week and I am waiting for the letter to arrive for my interview.

Any idea how long it takes?

Can I do anything now to save some time just in case it will tight from receiving the letter to the date of the interview?
