Letter of Potential Interview Waiver was received on 2-Sept-2013, but we received an Interview Appointment Letter yesterday.
Really ????
I thought that by getting the waiver letter you're 1 step before getting your conditional GC...
Hey, look on the bright side cause you might be lucky and by going to your interview you are expediting your GC arrival.

Hi guys, I just got my GC. It was so fast! I expected to wait around 2-3 weeks but it took only a few days. Keeping my fingers crossed for you, it's coming for all of us.
Join the club. Welcome.
And now we wait...

Yes. It did. Last night when I checked it it's on the 3rd circle. Now I checked it it's on the 5th circle and the USPS tracking status show I should receive the green card next Mon. WOW
Thanks for the info and congratulations.

Hi, guys. I received the welcome notice today and soon I'll receive my green card, maybe next week. Actually I always think I should receive the card soon even I received the delaying letter. Now it became true. So guys don't be depressed after you receive the delaying letter just do what you should do then maybe the green card will come soon.
Did you case status online changed?

My wife's received the letter that her green card is approved, and has been sent to our home address!!!! No RFE's, no interview and we too received that letter sent to everyone about the 6 month delay on top of original processing time. But it was approved 6 months, pretty much exactly, from the date the AOS was filed! I have updated my timeline if anyone wants to check it! Thank you everyone for all your help, support, and generosity in offering your experiences, points of advice, etc over this past 17 months.
Congratulations Syntankid.
It gives us hope something is actually moving there ...

Well, well, Finally today got the AOS approved and got the notification for production of the CARD. it will be delivered within next 30 days from today. Good Luck to all the people here, who are eagerly waiting for their's. One more Hurdle ( Paperwork) Cleared.
Congratulations BharaBachani.

apply for the free combo card (as described in the GUIDES). AND, if necessary, start the EAD/AP combo card renewal 90 days prior to expiration….
, 'cause AOS can be a long time coming….
I hope that YMMV.
Good luck.
FREE?????

Yep, we just got the waiver letter today.
Same here, got it today.

We just received a notice of potential interview waiver, guess that means we may or may not be interviewed, but the letter says for sure that our AOS won't be approved for another six months from the date of the letter due to workload delays.
At least you know everything is in order and you'll probably will not have an interview.

My husband EAD/AP was approved at the beginning of June, but we haven't yet received any letter notifying us of an interview or otherwise. It's been silence. The status on USICS still shows acceptance and hasn't budged. I would've rather had an interview and then approved on the spot!
Same here.

Hi all,
I got to the US on K1 visa, got married and filed for AOS March/2013.
Got RFE and respond to it in May. Got my EA card last month.
Any of you guys have similar time frame? What is your case status?
Thanks.
-
How come June/2013 already got interview dates???
-
My status is also in "Acceptance" stage...
Hope you guys will get the GC (and myself as well
)
Keep me update please if there is any change.
Good luck.

My case is processed @ the Vermont office.
Any of you guys have similar time frame? What is your case status?
I heard that the Vemont office is very very slow...
Please share.

Hey all,
Is it possible to POE by myself with a truck full of my stuff? It's a fiance visa K1.
Thinking about Fort Erie as my POE.
Please advise and share your thoughts. My fiance is working really hard (approx 70 hours a week) and I want to do it in the early afternoon so when she comes home in the evening I can surprise her :-)
Any thoughts are welcome and appreciated.

From what others have experienced, it takes about a month after sending in followup documentation before the visa is sent out.
Thanks.
Any other people here can share from their own experience?
-
You should fill out your timeline so others can help you better.
It's been almost 2 months, correct?
I would definitely follow up on this. Have you kept in touch with Loomis? It's possible that they have had it all along and you were never notified. I'm not sure how long they hold it before they send it back to Montreal.
It's been 2 months since my interview but only 2 weeks since they got the document I sent them.
Any idea how I check if there's been any progress or if they issued my visa yet?
They only thing I actually know for a fact is that they received the document because they had to signed for it.
-
I am still waiting...
Had to submit one document that was missing and I sent it via registered mail, they got it and now I'm waiting. Hope it won't be too long before I'll get it.
-
I am waiting for my passport to arrive from Montreal to Toronto.
How long does it take for them to issue the visa from the date I had my interview? and send it back to me?
Please share your experience.
-
Just so there is NO confusion--are you in New York?? As each state differs.
I'm still in Toronto but moving to NY soon.
-
Has anyone ever stayed there? It was difficult to find a hotel since there are so many and wanted one at reasonable price. If you have what was your experience?
We will stay there as well for my interview.

Congrats
