Here is some good news from the Consulate:
    "
Dear petitioner, we apologize for the inconvenience and are ready to assist you in getting the documents re-packaged.
An appointment to do this cannot be scheduled in Guadalajara as this is a process that took place in Ciudad Juarez.
What you'll need to do is mail back both the passport with the K1 visa and the package to the Consulate General in Ciudad Juarez. You will be able to do this free of charge if you send them back through DHL. To do so, please access your fiancee's record on this webpage, select 'Submit Documents to Consular Section' --> Immigrant Visas --> IV Administrative Processing --> and follow all steps until you get a confirmation.
Print the Confirmation and present it at your nearest DHL location along with the passport and the package. DHL will send the documents to the US Consulate General in Ciudad Juarez. The Consulate will receive the documents, re-package, and send them back to the DHL store registered on the applicant's record.
Upon reception, we estimate the Consulate will be able to send you the documents within 5 to 8 days. Once the Consulate has sent the documents back to you, you will see a new AWB or tracking number on the applicant's record."
