    Start working my new job next week!!! After just a week of being here I had my first interview today. It's Subway and it's minimum wage but I'm counting my blessings- gotta start somewhere,right? :)

    Hi,nope. We sent our I-130 to the Chicago Lockbox which then went to Vermont. My husband was in Kenya with me by the time we applied.

    Taking care of 3 one-week old kittens is keeping my mind a little bit distracted from the long wait...they're quite something!!! And so cute!! Meanwhile Vermont has updated their current processing times to June 4th 2012. Mmmmmhhhh.

      It's beyond crazy at this point. Well according to the USCIS, Vermont is "backlogged" due to the many millions of files they're processing. Hmmm.

    My husband & I are on the verge of giving up on all this...but we're trying to keep the faith. Seems USCIS is still working on May 28th!!!! It's so upsetting to know that September/October/November filers are already being approved yet we have NO idea when ours is coming :( :( Please pray for us, thanks.

      Happy new year mrembo. Woi!!! Don't even ask. This waiting is killing us- I think I may be suffering from mild depression :( VSC adjusted their processing time from 5.4 months to 6.2 months. We're 7 days away from the 6.2 month mark so we'll try calling again. We renewed mu hubby's visa for another 3 months so he has til April 3rd to be here :( How've you been though?

      Subira huvuta heri. I know it's difficult to be patient but I'm positive all will go well. I'm glad his visa was extended since that will keep you sane. I'm down with flu :( ugh, I hate winter! I just started spring semester so it's another 4 months of books.

    Hi my dear, we're okay on this side of the Sahara :) Just takin one day at a time...I've seen a few June filers getting approvals this week so we're more hopeful than ever. 16th Dec marks our 5th month of waiting :( I'm sure ours is coming soon though!!!
