Thank you for the information. After the case is complete, what to expect next from NVC?
If you PD (priority date) is current they may schedule you an interview date by the end of the month or the first two weeks of September. All depends on your country US embassy availability to schedule interviews for your category.

can you please post the link. I cannot seem to google it!? Thanks.
Here is the link

I received a checklist cover letter from NVC. I was instructed to correct some infos that are missing on my DS-230 form. The new form was already sent back to NVC. The NVC states on the checklist cover letter to wait 20 working days for processing. I want to know from anyone, what will be the next step of the process after NVC finished reviewing all the documents that we submitted. Currently, my priority number is current under F2B category.
Call NVC to verify they have received the correction and ask them if your case is completed. They will always tell you to wait 20 days but usually it does not take more than 5 business day for them to complete.

Agree and correct explanation my friend. Just trust our journey friends.
Yeah, live your life and let other live them without spying, Just the american Way.
Nobody invite you to go and spy on them and for your knowledge the priority date of the person on the Vietnam forum was May 7, 2010, you were the one that recalled the wrong information here. Take care and take a deep breath.
-
You are totally wrong. If the VB cut off date is 08May2010 then only people with PD earlier than this can only get interview letter not even the person with PD of 08May..It's not that your consulate has some interview slots available then then can take someone with PD after the cut off date. Otherwise what's the point of publishing visa bulletin with the cut off dates. It's common sense.
Simple rule is that DO NOT TRUST Spanish/Vietnamese forums..
Yara, yara, yara, let see when they starts assigning interview at the end of the month, who it is going to be quoting and spying on other people's forum. Totally BS
By the way be proactive and fill your timeline.

Good things are near . God is great and dont forget to be patient . God bless you!
You see that it was true and congratulations, you are going to receive your IL for October.

en serio ya esta en USA esa chica- ?
Yes that was last year her nick name was Alexarod and when she received her interview letter, everyone from this VJ forum started doubting about her category and making assumptions about her case.
And now it is about the girl who is from your country Ecuador, she received her interview letter for September 17, 2012 and her PD is May 11, 2010 and they are now making assumptions as always. They can not understand may be in her country has space available to schedule her because they do not have many immigrants visa demands as other countries. They just ASSuME she is lying because they can not understand the American system.

its 7weeks on last month good news and dont trust any other blog only trust vj membar
Yeah do not be spying other people forum, stay in your forum at VJ and fill your timelines. You guy are out of control, if anybody new say they receive their interview letter, you guys do not trust the person because is new. Last year we have in the Dominican Forum a girl category F2A who's received her interview letter before her PD was current and you guys did not believe and she is already in NJ leaving with her family. So if you going to doubt about other people just do not go to spy on them and do something productive over here.
I guess all of you do not believe in God because you are not able to see him.
So when you people do not have anything to do, fill your timeline and be proactive for the VJ forum.

Hopefully soon your guys will here good news from Vermont Service Center.

Hello Everyone!!! I just want to ask about d-230 part II, is it already available in the embassy or my husband should send it to me and i have to fill it up before going to my interview, or it is already in the USEM? Pls... guide me since i'll be having my kids with me on our interview...
When your husband submitted your documents to the NVC he submitted the complete DS230 part 1 & 2, you will only have to sign it in front of the consulate official during your interview.

Hello all! After 2 years of being a VJ member. I will finally post... We received our appointment interview in US Embassy Manila on 27Sep.
My wife is so happy the morning we checked both of our emails. They sent it to the both of us.
Good vibes to all!
Congratulations!

It could be that those cases from 2011 are from Vermont Service center which is taking 16 months to approve a case.
-
NVC case number has nothing to do with priority date. The year in the NVC number means when the NVC received your case and assigned your case number , just like the other member told you. Your priority date could be December 1,2010 and your NVC case number could start with XXX 2012 if the NVC received and assigned your case number in that year.

Huh??? What about the MNL2011583179??
XXX #### ### ###
The first set (three letters) of the case number is the consulate/embassy code.
The second set (four numbers) is the year the case number was assigned.
The third set (three numbers) is the three digit Julian date plus 500.
And the fourth set (three numbers) is the serial number of the day the case number was assigned.
You're going through the consulate in Manila and your case was assigned on March 24st, 2011 and was the 179th case to be assigned a number, your case number would be: MNL 2011 583 179.

Ok, but where can you guess that it was september. Is there any specific code. like 72 at end. 7+2=9 september. How?????
Please explain.
So anxious to see these pds moving fast. Hope they finish with Year 2010 in 2012. Please God.

As your PD become closer they will send you an appointment for fingerprints, and they will let you know is anything needs to be update. Affidavit does not need to be update because it is indefinite and does not have expiration date. It expired when the sponsored immigrant becomes a US citizen or have 40 earned working credits which mean ten years of work.

Expiration of the I-864
Will the I-864 I submitted expire if my relative's interview is delayed for any reason?
No, the validity of the I-864, I-864 EZ, or I-864A is considered indefinite; beginning from the date the sponsor files it with the National Visa Center, the U.S. embassy or consulate.
