I've been following the thread but this is my first post. I just finished my interview and my status already changed to Oath Ceremony will be scheduled.

I received the tracking number for my GC. It says 2 days priority mail. Expected to be delivered today, but shows right that

Hi everybody!
I had my interview in SF office at this morning and received a letter telling that my case needs further review.
But now after 2 hours from the interview I just receive a text msg telling that my card is on production!

I was very relaxed about the interview, but now that the day is arriving I am getting so nervous! I already checked all documents like 50 times and still think I am missing something! I hope everything goes well!

- 2 Letters in my name showing our address
- Letter from SS showing my name and address
- 2 Wedding Cards that we receive
- 1 Letter from his mom showing both of our names in the same address
- Copy of Tickets to Wisconsin to visit his mother
- Copy of Tickets to Las Vegas
- Copy of Hotel reservation in Las Vegas
- Letter from the bank showing our joint saving account and our individually checking account
- Approx 100 photos since we met till now
- Copy of last tax return (Sponsor and Co-sponsor - We already sent it in the package)
- Last 3 pay stubs (Sponsor and Co-sponsor - We already sent it in the package)
- Letter from the company (Sponsor and Co-sponsor - We already sent it in the package)
- Copy of Birth Certificate (Sponsor and Co-sponsor - We already sent it in the package)

My husband has free healthcare from his job, but to include me he needs to pay an extra value. His company has 4 different types of plan and we choose an intermediate one, because I need to do an special exam each 6 months. He pays right now around $200/month for both of us (health care, dentist and vision). I think that is expensive, because in Brazil since I started to work I never paid health care, but $800 is crazy expensive!!!

I just checked my status on USCIS website and changed to RFE.
I had no idea what they want because I sent everything they need. Now we need to wait the letter and check what could this possible be.

WELCOME TO HELL.

Needless to say, it's great to have a forum like this where we can discuss our experiences and essentially support one another. As other people have reiterated, it's not to look at these posts and not feel like you are somehow being persecuted. The sad fact of the matter is that we're all just bits and pieces being processed through a gigantic bureaucratic machine.
Having received NOA1 on 8/6, we were hoping for a NOA2 in December. Foolish us! We'll be lucky if we hear something in March.
And NUFCFC, you are 100% right. We just want to live our lives here. Our applications are sitting collecting dust. Nothing takes this long to background check and look into. They sit for months and months and are likely churned out in a few days after the cobwebs are dusted off and our cases are considered.
The worst part of it is being able to plan absolutely nothing. I laugh when I see people talking about planning weddings. I'm more worried about when my partner and I will even see each other. We can't even book a ticket yet. She can't even give her 30-day job notice. We are sitting around here, waiting endlessly here...just to see when we can start planning our lives...
