  1. My fiancé is at the embassy in Manila for the interview. I know she is nervous. I told her to be confident and try not to worry. God has a plan. Pray for a positive outcome.

    Thanks

Good luck to her, I'm sure she will get approved. As long as she has all of her documents, there will not be any problems. Best Wishes

  2. Good day to all you VisaJourney Philippines Members,

I'm really hoping to tap into your experiences to insure that I am following through with things correctly after receiving the MNL number yesterday morning. I have a couple questions and I pray you can all help me get some answers to.

    1) Now that I have the MNL number, can my love go to BPI and schedule her interview straight away?

    2) When can my love go for her medical at St Luke's? Do we have to wait until the USEM receives the case from the NVC before going for the medical or can we go anytime after scheduling the interview?

    Rgds,

    Sahs

You do not have to wait for a letter from the NVC, as long as you have your case number, you can schedule you go to the BPI then wait about 4-6 hours and then schedule your interview online. You must have your medical taken before your interview, at least a few days before your interview. Good luck to you.

  3. Good morning guys!! I have a question regarding the Employment letter..what if the gross annual income indicated there is different on how much a person actually makes?Say for example they just indicated the income for a basic 40 hour work every week.. Is it ok if we indicate the gross annual income on the form I-134 based on his salary per month and include all the bonuses he receives as well...as long as it shows on his pay stubs for the past 3 months? Any ideas will be gladly appreciated..

Hi, my fiance had her interview last month and passed, than GOD. As long as you have the employment letter and have some paystubs that indicate your salary. You are supposed to use your gross income. You should be good to go without any problems. The bottom line is as long as you meet the financial requirements, there will be no issues. Best Wishes

  4. Hi everyone...

I'm so glad to be a member of VJ, at least i know i'm not the only one waiting. Me and fiance are both stressed about the long wait, he forward the visa application to Vermnt in January 14 2013 and he got the receipt after 2 days. He again received an email that the application has been approved, by reading the comments here in the forum, i think that is the NOA2 if im not mistaken... After that , it's been 3 months and we haven't heared anything , my fiance tried to call NVC and the operator said that there is nothing he could do but wait.... We are so stressed about it, we dont have any idea if until when is the wait, our son is 6 months old now and we are hoping to be all together before his first birthday... Such a long wait.... But we are optimistic and my fiance keep telling me, as everyday passes it brings us to be closer together..... So this wait, really needs patience :-)

Does anyone has an idea how long will it take to receive A news about it? Or do u think its not impossible that we get there before our sons forst birthday?

I hope to hear from u guys.

Hi, no one ever really knows how long it will take to get your NOA2, but typically it takes anywhere from 6-9 months, sometimes sooner and unfortunately sometimes later. I would think that you should be together right around your child's first birthday. I hope it happens for you guys. Please keep the faith.

  5. We are on high spirits right now!:energy: Our visas has been approved today! YAY!!! All three of us!(L) exactly 7 months from filing. I can't even fathom how excited We are. Great things comes to those who wait..... Eagerly. :) Thank you God for hearing our prayers. My husband can't contain the joy he has right now. News is all over Facebook and twitter. :jest::lol: I just love his excitement. :dancing::luv:(L) Sharin the love to all! Visa journey has been very helpful.

    Congratulations

  6. Good luck!

We did not submit the information until my fiance had her interview, so don't worry about that, just make sure that you have it for your interview.

I did not attend my fiance's interview and she passed with no problems at all. I was only able to spend 1 week with her and she got approved.

We were with VSC and we got our NOA2 after 206 days, but it looks like they are moving faster. I would not expect to get approved in 5 months, although you may and I hope that you get approved quickly. You might be setting yourself up for disappointment if it takes you longer to get approved.

    Good luck to you

  7. My fiance has a bit of debt that he needs to pay back, money borrowed from the bank etc. This keeps him from buying internet etc. I don't exactly understand the legality of it but it is for small amounts that they put a hold on your spending (his brother couldn't buy internet because he owes $90 reais) Will this affect the visa process? What about getting a passport? He was going to get one this week.

    Thank You!

His debt really shouldn't be a problem. The main thing is the he meets the financial requirements. Please look under the K1 section under the GUIDES on this website. Good luck to you
