I already did contact the VA homeless program. Several times.

First off, I'm not going to a shelter, while my wife and kid are homeless. Who would even suggest that?

Secondly, I'm not leaving them to go travel far away, just so I have a place to stay. I need to protect them.

Indeed. We're surviving, for the time being. At least our kid was born here, and we don't have pollution, terrorists, scammers, traffic, or wild dogs in America.

Thank you. However, already contacted Catholic Charities and Veteran's Affairs. Neither organization helps with shelter, food, clothes, utilities, diapers, or anything. Also, my wife is a foreigner. And not a veteran. Thanks though.

Well, as a citizen, I don't need a visa. Thanks anyhow. But I'm not sure moving to America was a good idea...

While my wife is legal here, she is treated like an illegal. Most places do not hire foreigners. Nor rent to them. Green card holders actually have less rights than illegal aliens. Sad.

Who knows who will be living here. I would also have no way of contacting them, since I will not know who they are. I also would not trust someone I do not know.
