According to the State Department, it is likely that the family 2A category (spouses and minor children of residents) advance "in a meaningful way" (very fast) in the spring of 2013. It is also anticipated that further progress last year pace (fast). Apparently the pardons are delaying many of these cases and therefore there will be many more visas available for those who do not need forgiveness. Everymonth i promise myself that i will not go nuts during first week of the month. Every new bulletin, i keep coming to this forum every other half hour for new good news.

I am sure they will start to work fast since its new year, new goals, so new hopes for all of us who are in waiting periods.

My pd is sept. 23,2010. But as many ppl said that pds r usually 8/10/15/22. I hope i dont have to wait another month for one day.

Their is no need to write a letter to nvc about affidavit of support its only need to attached when you have co or joint sponsor in that case you have to attache a letter from you co sponsor explaining the reason why he or she is helping you and a letter from your side why you need co or joint sponsor.If your annual income meet the criteria for 1-864 and your are filling 1-864 by our self you do not to worry about a letter the thing you must need to submit with 1-864 are following

1 most recent tax return or last three tax return including most recent 2011

2 employment letter from your employer on his or her letter head mentioning length of service and position

3 most recent two or three month pay stub

4 w2 form most recent year

5 proof of residence like copy of your green card front and back image if you are us citizen copy of biographic page of you valid us passport

6 if you are self employee then your secdual c secdual B form show your loss and profit etc

But cousin, her pd was 03/08/2010. Her husband just got visa about 1 or so ago.

She had a co sponsor, they asked for a sponsorship letter.

I have a question:

I am the only one who is sponsoring my husband, i have done AOS I-864. I heard that I have to write a letter to the consulate that I will afford my husband.

What sort of information should i put there.

My current salary, place of work, etc.

In Punjab,

Passport asks PC from your local police station signed by SSP. Superindent of Police and then goto Passport office. It was a 2 day job, they give you right away or you can have them mailed your passport.

We have both, on passport and a certificate from our location police station.

It was done in April. Will confirm more with someone if its valid for a year or 6 months.

Also, immigration is asking to put your spouse name on the passport. They questioned you. If you have time in intervie, might as well get it done.

My husband's police clearance certificate was done in April 2012.

Pd is 09/23/2010.

How long is it valid for? 6 months or more.

We have sent originial Birth Certificate, original Marriage certificate, affidavit from my inlaws and my parents that we are married.

Do you think they will ask for more documents?

Just praying for Visa Bulletin to move faster. I would say July or August would be best.

I am not expecting or predicting higher cz it hurts when it doesnt really move as we wanted to.

What is FNU. First Name Unknown. When i ask status via Email to NVC, it always says FNU. I questioned them, they said to do something with Passport. You guys are more expert. Please explain in detail.

What do we have to do.

It should be more than one month per each vb....with the slow pace that i-130s are reviewed these days, NVC and Embassies are trying to catch up. Plus it is a new fiscal year and NVC is doing a good job cleaning up 2010 pds. Slow, but steady. You are very right to be possitive while 6-7 months from ds3032 seems a little too optimistic, i think it is very realistic to expect a good movement of VB. Do not let negative thoughts get to you while i understand that people are trying not to get other people's hopes too high, we should all remember that negativity does not get us anywhere either. As "positivists" here do not know how fast VB will move, the rest equally not know that it will be slower closer we get to the end, harder the wait gets My prediction is August 2010, though i trully hope all of us will be reunited sooner. I got my DS 3032 in march, my case has been complete since May, and if the current pace stays, i should be current within next 4 months, which should be exactly 10 months since my ds3032. So there is light in the end of the tunnel

Do you think its possible to recieve interview by end of November or early December. I just have a strong feeling inside that we will be unite this year. Rest is upto God, He is the planner for all of us. He doesnt hurt us.

I heard that Immigration is asking so many proofs these days to show that you are husband wife.

One my friend's husband visa is pending, they said show more proofs that you are husband and wife. Cz many ppl do so much fraud for fake marriages. Then real ppl get stuck.

One of my uncle is expert in Immigration filing stuff specially F2As.

He said PD will move alot for October. Lets hope his words come true.

I wish it will jump to August 2010.

Can someone please confirm: You guys are more expert on this.

In 2010, when the PD is almost current.

In November 2010 the PD was 06/01/2010.

In December 2010 the PD was 08/01/2010.

In August 2012, even though PD was 03/15/2012 but they still give interviews to those of PD 03/26/2012 or more.

So, in September 2010, PD is 05/08/2012 they will finish May and June. SO Pd will be July something and in November it will be September.

They had June 2010 and August 2010. Do you guys think they will repeat that?

One of my friend with pd end of march 2010 got interview in sept.

she was current in 2010 but tgen pd changed. They asked for tax.and aos and original marriage certificate. Etc.

Good luck to all. We r in line, wait is getting shorter by Wahegurus Kirpa.

I had an attorney first, then i removed him writing a letter to NVC.

Now, they send everything on my email. I have sent all the paperwork like DS230 and AOS. I recieved email confirmation that my case is on the completed cases list awaiting for visa.

Please confirm if i need a COA. I told them that I will be representing my husband's case.
