1.If the mail/postal system in the DR is good, then you can email her the letter and have her sign and mail it back to you in the states. In my case I knew someone coming here from there to here and was able to get my documents back that way.

2.Yes.

3.you can use phone records, emails, Face book or Skype chat convos, pictures.I don't think money orders are useful but you should ask the people in the DR portal on that one.

4.you can fill out the G32A over the phone ,then email your fiancé the PDF to be signed and mailed back.

5.Yes,if either is divorced you must include the decree.

it's beyond ridiculous and you are correct, the military has much more transparency than immigration. I find it all beyond insulting. I can't help but think as I saw the protesters in Washington on the news today if maybe..we...our government sometimes invites illegal immigration with such a ####### system filled with people working that simply do not seem to care. Maybe the answer instead of passing more legislation is reforming the ####### system they have now to make it more user friendly, efficient and most importantly more transparent.

I'm a Veteran as well ,I'm usually not one to complain but my patience ran out last week. What irks me the most is the fact that this is not the last step in getting the visa, It's the FIRST. The first dag gone step and it's taking 7 months or more for some. Sheesh, while I was deployed at least I knew we would redeploy after a year.

:dance: went to work this morning, Checked my status at least 4 times today. Before I left work at 4 pm I checked one last time, still no NOA2, got home open my laptop, log on to uscis.gov and there was my approvalafter 242 long days. No text or e-mail was sent to me. FINALLY APPROVED, SUPPER HAPPY!!!!!

We skype date (video and chat) and yahoo messenger chat, then after his work we watch movies and series at the same time.

Example LOST, Heroes, Walking Dead series, I'll look for DVD copies of the series here in the Philippines and he'll do the same at Colorado, USA then once we got are hands on both movies or series, we'll play it together..watch them, talk about it, laugh about it, etc..we also play games online together play card games online and etc..you can try those too, so you and your love of your life can spend quality time together. My fiance likes us playing games such as Warcraft and Diablo. I hope this helps

sorry, I'm kinda traumatized with how people react here on VJ. I once posted a gratitude prayer hoping it would help other people with their worries but unfortunately all I received was sarcasm and negativity, people with bad attitudes and hateful hearts.

we do the same thing. we use Skype or yahoo im to watch movies or listen to music. it takes a lot of planning with an 8 hr time difference but it's worth it. We talk everyday 5 or 6 times a day.
