bacardi101 reacted to Tahoma in using a co-sponsor on k1 visa in philippines
    Hi Loernzo20...and welcome to VJ...
I agree that the U.S. Embassy Manila sometimes accepts cosponsors.
I agree that the cosponsor should be a close relative.
I agree that fresh college graduates have a better chance of having their cosponsor accepted.
I believe that you should attempt to submit an I-864 and an I-134 from your cosponsor.
I believe you would have a better chance of approval if you attended your fiancée's interview.
I believe that all of these factors would potentially give you a chance for a visa.
I predict your biggest obstacle will be if you have no current sustained income.
I have not seen a K-1 approval at the U.S. Embassy Manila in a case where there was absolutely no income.

I dont give a ###### about the I-864 I love my Fiancee whether she divorces me or not is no concern of mine. If im worried about the I-864 then i should never be marrying her in the first place. You only marry someone you trust and believe in and it seems you just wanted some chick for kicks if you just jumped into it but hey whatever floats your boat. Personally if she left and i did get stuck owing the government anything then oh well #### it shes worth every chance this government is giving me.

Exactly, and when ordering it online is both cheap and easy, NO reason not to have a current one. You don't invite trouble by bringing old documents. They might be accepted, but why give them the option!

Depending on where they are in the process, chances are he will be asked to bring the police records to the interview at the consulate.
I misunderstood your initial post. I thought they were still waiting for a visa to come to the US. Mea culpa.

    Manila Embassy:
After NOA2 AND YOU HAVE YOUR MNL #
(don't need to wait for the letter from the embassy )
Once you have your MNL # you can take your passport and required visa fee (in Php) to BPI and pay your visa fee. The embassy website states that within 4 hours of paying at BPI you can schedule your interview appointment but most times it seems to take about 24 hours.
    http://www.ustraveldocs.com/ph/ph-niv-paymentinfo.asp
When scheduling online with the embassy you need to include the "XX" at the beginning of the passport number, your passport number IS your receipt number (normally).
Priorty Date; this is the date the NOA 1 was accepted.
Make sure to print two copies of the interview confirmation page as you will need one for St. Luke's and the other for the embassy.

Required documents & "OTHER DOCUMENTS" they ask for at CFO: copies of; CENOMAR, certified birth certificate, bio page of passport, visa page from passport, pictures together, from USC - bio page of passport, birth certificate, divorce decree (if been married before) are the most common. The "other documents" clause can be ANYTHING with those nit-wits at CFO.

Latin guys can be very jealous. that is just their nature. The Latin women they understand this very well. I think you married the wrong person. If he was getting into jealous rage in paraguay well
surely it can only get worst here in USA bcoz its more intense here. Rather than going to NY he decided to go back home. That says alot. He came here bcoz of you not his love of USA otherwise he would try and stay here no matter what. Its sad he has to leave but it may be best for everyone.

You were being very selfish and I say that with no malice intended and you asked for opinions.
Women are naturally flirty and seek attention. There's nothing wrong that per see when you are single but it needs to be adjusted once you get married, IMHO, and especially when the opposing party feels that it's inappropriate. Based on what you wrote, I think you did not do a good enough job, again IMHO. It's also a cultural thing and I'm kind of confused why you did not pick up on that while you lived in his home country and adjusted for that when you arrived back home.
I hope your Husband didn't give up all his opportunities/resoruces to follow you to your country and you basically sent him back - if he has left.
Me personally will seek divorce from you if I were him. You've showed your hand that you cannot be depended on.
All that being said, you should be happy and deserve to be happy and should never be in an unfruitful relationship. I do not fault you for seeking happiness but your execution was unsavory.
    Good luck.

Have you considered that he may be experiencing culture shock?
It's unfortunate that people don't often get the opportunity to visit the US in order to decide if it is where they want to live. Not knowing the language, customs, culture, etc., only makes it worse.
