  1. To the OP, you have been placed in Administrative Processing (AP) so the consulate can run some background checks on you (your file) !

Sit back and wait for a response from your consulate. Hopefully you should be fine.

    Good luck

Dear What does OP means ?

I mean are there two types of Administrative Processes one on the Green Slip and the other on Blue Slip, I have not been mentioned to provide any further documentation and consular also said that everything is fine.

  2. Dear All,

I had my interview today for K1 Fiance(e)today. Counselor was quite friendly, he had a very simple interview. But at the end he gave me a Blue Sheet of 212(g), moreover he said, everything is fine, all the documentation is perfectly alright and they don't anything more. On the sheet it was just written that Your case shall go through Administrative processing and no demand of further documentation was required. I just want to ask that is this okay, as Blue Sheet is usually used for the sake of demand of further documentation !

  3. Hi there, I used to encounter that part. Check this link out. This can help. Good luck.

    http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/370494-please-help-i-134-question/

I tick the check box "I INTEND TO" and additional explanation can be added that Necessary Expenditures including room and board shall be provided and Petitioner shall marry with Beneficiary within 90 days of Arrival.

That shall be a handsome reply to that question. Thank you !

  4. When embassy asked for the Original Birth Certificate along with the packet 3, I sent them the one made by NADRA. The original one, they accepted it and scheduled my Appointment for the Interview. Now do I need to re-make the original birth certificate to take along with me to the interview or not ?

Moreover, the NADRA's (English Translated) computerized certificate is okay or should we take that manually made Birth Certificate one made locally by the court and later attested ?

Kindly help me in this regard.

(They have already scheduled my Interview date)

  5. Any proof that can be submitted is at the discretion of the interviewing agent, weather they accept and find it to be useful or unnecessary. If you would like to take chat history/images and you feel it will help you.. then do it! I have read cases from others were they have not been asked for proof of ongoing relationship, others have submitted 500pages and been declined visa. Its better to go prepared! however the best proof is the involvement of the family with you. Taking pictures of each other spending time with the family is very strong proof of a pious and honest relationship

I just need to ask how should I print my Skype and Facebook chat history. Suggest me a way !

  6. Never send originals of any document unless specifically required.

Transcripts are preferred because no other supporting docs are needed. In the case of a joint tax return being used by a sponsor, their individual W2/1099 info would be needed to confirm their share of the joint income shown.

I am simply attaching the copies (Xerox or Photocopy) of the Tax Return Transcript along with the copies of W2s by my fiancee and our joint sponsor too. But I don't have 1099, would it be okay ?

  7. I have taken the following information off of the Department of State website:

    http://travel.state.gov/visa/immigrants/types/types_2994.html#8

During the visa interview, applicants will be required to present evidence to the Consular Officer that they will not become a public charge in the U.S. You may present evidence that you are able to financially support yourself or that your U.S. citizen fiancé(e) is able to provide support. The Consular Officer may request that a Form I-134, Affidavit of Support be submitted by the U.S. citizen fiancé(e).

The U.S. citizen fiancé(e) will need to submit Form I-864 to USCIS with the application for adjustment of status to that of legal permanent resident following the marriage.

The 125 percent of the federal poverty guideline minimum income requirement, the most recent year's tax return, and other requirements only apply when Form I-864 is needed. Applicants presenting Form I-134 will need to show that their U.S. sponsor's income is 100 percent of the federal poverty guideline.

The Department of State uses the Foreign Affairs Manual (FAM) to go by. Here is the latest FAM on this issue which includes a very helpful chart so you can find out exactly how much you need to be able to show in your documents: http://www.state.gov/documents/organization/86991.pdf

I hope this is helpful for you.

How shall I manage to check either my sponsor is eligible to call me or not so how shall I see it ?

I mean, she is calling me on K1 visa and her family unit is sized as 6 but no one is dependent on her and everybody is earning their own ? How shall I check that ? Right now I am simply preparing for my Interview and asking her to prepare I-134 so what should I do !

  8. Waoh I am tottaly screwed! I only sent my fiancee the last 3 months of phone call logs because that is all that i really have! I used a phone calling card company that only tracks last 3 months.

facebook chats.... 100 pages of that did not want to print soo much paper and expenseive INK!

whatsaap....... 200+ pages same as above

skype.... yeah did not chat much on skype just used the video option.

emails.... maybe a few emails... phone is a lot easier

    any suggestions?

How did you print that Facebook chat, I mean in what format actually. As there is no given option as "Facebook Chat Print" except copying and pasting it manually.

Ya you are absolutely right, Pakistan Prepaid Connection doesn't offer you to have Call Log more than last 3 months.

This 11 months call log was taken PTCL (The only landline company here in Pakistan).

Moreover, I don't have Hotel Receipts or Train Tickets etc because as she came she stayed here at my home and we do have cars so we never got a chance to be there in Train. So I guess this shouldn't be a case of worry. But even then if it is then do tell me !

  9. No!!! Probably you will get a huge denial if you only take phone bills and logs. And Pakistan is not the easiest consulate! Get well prepare with: photos of you together and family, emails, letters, cards, receipts from hotls, restaurants, museums, boarding pases, airplane tickets, itineraries, chat log from fb, whatsapp, yahoo etc. you dont have to take them all but you need much more the phone bills

Dear, I think you got me wrong, I have all of the above mentioned documents and evidences, I was simply asking that Phone Logs for only 11 months shall be sufficient or not to be taken to the interview. Otherwise, I do have, emails, yahoo chat session, skype chat sessions, facebook chat sessions, I-134 along with all it's supporting documents (i.e pay stubs etc), then letters and affidavits from family for the agreement of marriage, pictures, Letter of intent of marry etc.

  10. Hi again

You need to keep Phone Logs, Email Logs, Chat Logs, Photos, Dating emails, Recent Conversation Transcripts, any post marked letters or envelope, tickets, hotel, restaurant bills, train tickets, wedding plans in USA etc...

All you need to keep all the above things in advance because they may ask for all above things if they are not convinced with verbal communication. Just be prepared along with all these documents.

    Thanks

  11. As my Fiancee is my cousin as well, so will she write it as "COUSIN" there in the "Relationship to the Sponsor" text box present there in the I-134 Form for K1 Fiancee visa or something else ?

And in case we need her father as a co-signer there for the support, so shall his father would separately fill I-134, and what would he write there in "Relationship to the Sponsor", NEPHEW or something else ?
