  1. Thanks scott and bobbie12!

About calling USCIS, I dialed as if to check my status, to be honest, I wasn't expecting them to tell me anything. I got a customer service rep and told her that I didn't receive my NOA1 in the mail (which is true, it got lost, good thing I changed my address way back so I know NOA2 will come to this address!) I wanted to talk to someone about getting it. So she transferred me to someone "higher up" (I was on hold for 40 minutes just FYI) who said that she couldn't resend the NOA1 but I won't need it as long as I have the receipt number, which I got in an e-mail. Then she gladly gave me the run-down on my case. I didn't know I could find out that stuff so early on. I guess if you ask to speak about your case or the status of your case, then someone can help you.

    Good luck!

  2. NEW WEEEK!!!! I feel like one of us will get that lucky NOA2 this week!!! Keep our hopes up People! :star:

On other news I am going to go visit my Fiance in August and will stay with her till the interview!!!! Can't wait to see my babbbbbbby

That's exciting! I'm planning on seeing my hubby in late August too. I woke up kinda sad but wouldn't that be so awesome if I went in August and came back...WITH HIM? The way my timeline's going that's definitely a possibility. Thanks for the encouragement and positive thinking guys! Happy Monday!!

  3. Hey, I think I'm antsy enough for your family!! NOA1 is Feb 24th and I am just...

    ...biting nails

...praying that NOA2 will come soon and I won't go crazy before then.

    ...getting paperwork together

...doing lots of research on the NVC and interview stages!!

THANKS to VJ, I2U and CIudad Juarez forum!

I didn't know anything about what was happening next,

Now that I know, I'm just so excited that it could be within the next month or two! Thanks for posting - looking forward to seeing those approvals!

Yeah, Ouarda, I think you're right! Now that I've gotten a lot of research done, I should focus on other things so I don't go crazy! 8)

  4. Download and fill the I-864 form http://www.uscis.gov/files/form/i-864.pdf

Fill and send in with the 1040 with all supporting w-2.

    I used the I-864EZ http://www.uscis.gov/files/form/i-864ez.pdf

As i only needed to send my current tax return and nothing else.

    In the AOS package,

    1.Receipt of the payment

    2.Generated barcoded cover sheet.

    3.Completed I-864 or I-864 EZ

The address to mail it should be whats on the barcoded coversheet.

Also, please write down in pencil on top left the NVC case number incase they misplaced your papers.

    Thats all.

Very helpful! I was going to file the i-864 but I can file the i-864 EZ. Thanks!!

  5. Unlockingsky and jaejayC, thanks! Just the fact that it could be within a month is... Just so awesome! I've been wanting my husband to meet my family since 2009, it's so close but so far...but so close! It's so exciting  Thanks for posting your experiences! It really means a lot!!
