My wife just had her medical at mohali last week and picked up her report. She was given a packet, but no X-ray. Is the X-ray included in the packet at mohali? I've heard people mention to not take the X-ray to the interview but rather to the POE. Confused...any info?

Wife picked up her medical report today. 2 weeks till the interview.

A follow up question. Don't know if they ask this or not at the interview. But if they ask if she was ever denied a visa, should the answer be yes or no? He thinks it should be a no since she never interviewed at the consulate. He thinks being denied at the USCIS is a denial of an immigration benefit, not a denial in visa.

Thanks I'll let him know.

Wife completed her medical today. Picking up the report Monday. Less than 3 weeks until the interview....

I have a question on behalf of my friend. His wife has an interview next week in New Delhi and is extremely nervous. The question is this, his wife became an orphan and her uncle and aunt adopted her. They attempted to bring her to the US via I-600 and the application was denied at the USCIS stage. They however continued to pay for her education and paid for / attended the wedding as if she was their own daughter. Will the previously denied application at the USCIS stage hinder her at the interview for a CR-1? She was 13 at the time of the I-600 and is currently 25.

Got it to work with New Delhi. I will be posting a how-to either tonight or tomorrow for people who are having difficulty as well.

I had sent them an email request since my wife's interview has been scheduled and we are suppose to register online regarding our point of delivery for the passport. I received a response where they directed me how to sign up and get the PDF page. Using their directions, if I choose Mumbai as the consulate, the PDF page appears. But if I choose New Delhi, nothing appears.
My question is for the other fellow New Delhi interviewees, did your PDF confirmation page say New Delhi for the Consulate General?

If its been more than a month, call your congressman. My file was lost for over 2 months.

You mean, do you have to submit a new I-864 on the updated form? God, no.
Phew!

Hey all, I have a question. With a new I-864, do I have to send a updated form to my wife for the interview or will the one I submitted and the NVC approved suffice?
-
Yes, at the end it will give you an option to print a pdf document. You will need to bring that to the embassy with you.
I called again today and the lady was much more helpful. I was unable to print the document because the information was already submitted. She gave me her Info and the confirmation ID for the registration. She told me to just provide the Confirmation ID number at the time of interview.

1, 4, 1, 2
Thanks for that. The gentleman looked up my information and confirmed that I had already chosen a pickup location of Jalandhar. I asked him if I had to print anything from the website and bring to the interview, and he told me to "read the directions". He wasn't very helpful.
Did you print anything? Do we have to take anything to the interview from the Ustraveldoc website? I know i'll be taking the copies of everything submitted to the NVC, USCIS, original Medical and PCC, Interview letter

Update: For those going through this process through Delhi embassy, I had to call the service rep at (1 310 616 5424) phone number to make it work.
What did you press to get into touch with a human being? I just go in loops with the automated system.

Yay, in the 20s now.
-
Yay...Case Ready as of this morning. No more At NVC.
-
Yay, status changed from at NVC to in transit.
-
I guess for New Delhi Consulate you will have to submit PCC with DS 230 but please double check by calling NVC
PCC is valid for 6 months
Just wanted to correct you. The PCC is valid for 1 year, not 6 months.

I registered for my wife but as an IR-1 applicant, there is no way to set up an appointment. The only page that I am going to send to my wife to print out is the place where it saysSpecify Documentation DeliveryIs that all?
I am not able to hit the IV Registration page, it keeps asking me to first schedule the appointment. Any ideas?
We are in the same situation as you. When I click the IV Registration, it makes the interview location Mumbai when it should be Delhi. I tried to contact the USTraveldocs people and they were of no help.

Exactly 5 weeks left. W00t

Status on CEAC changed from Processing at NVC to "At NVC"
-
It's valid for 1 year from the date of issuance and you only need a PCC from the passport office not from the district office unless if the beneficiary lived overseas.
