Hey, I think I'm antsy enough for your family!! NOA1 is Feb 24th and I am just...
...biting nails
...praying that NOA2 will come soon and I won't go crazy before then.
...getting paperwork together
...doing lots of research on the NVC and interview stages!!
THANKS to VJ, I2U and CIudad Juarez forum!
I didn't know anything about what was happening next,
Now that I know, I'm just so excited that it could be within the next month or two! Thanks for posting - looking forward to seeing those approvals!
Yeah, Ouarda, I think you're right! Now that I've gotten a lot of research done, I should focus on other things so I don't go crazy! 8)

Sounds like he had excellent interview. Hopefully you hear something soon ... I hate Casablancas consulate, I am so scared to go there with my fiance for her interview

Hey Guys,
So glad to find this thread for February filers. After I read everyone's impatience, it was good relief to see I am not alone. I really hope we will all get our NOA2's very very soon and we will all be reunited with our loved ones soon too. Please keep updating on your cases. I keep checking our case status on USCIS page so many times a day and I am getting very negative and hopeless. God I miss my fiance!
Keep your hopes up!!! I am missing my baby so much right now... the only thing you have to do is keep yourself busy and not think about it!!! It would be awesome if they got into feb. next week at CSC

Thank You alll For the Advice, Hopefully With me being there around july-august; our interview will come up and I can bring her home
!! I really hope they do a check on my passport when her interview comes up because they will know I am outside waiting for her!!

Thank you so much guys!!!
unfortunatly guys and gals of VJ... I do not speak arabic and she will do the interview in English ... she sometimes mixes up words from french and english sooo the last question i would have for all of you would be...If she doesn't understand the question you think she can ask the CO to repeat it in french? and of course she would answer in english.. or would they think there is a communication barrier and we would get sent back to usics

Thank you sooo much guys and I have read somewhere on this forum that if she doesn't do the interview in english that is an automatic fail??

Hello VJ-ers...
Best of luck to ALL of you in surviving the process with your sanity intact.
My current concern is, having received NOA1 on April 2 2012, we are now in the wait for the NOA2, of course.
VJ and even National Averages listed at USCIS and also the dates and wait times on the timelines of others dealing with our same consulate ALL say 5 months (approx. of course).
HOWEVER
when I use the USCIS toggle system for estimates on the Texas Service Center specifically, which is where VJ instructs sending the initial application, say over 13 MONTHS!
I now know there is a USCIS processing center right here in Chula Vista, California, in San Diego, where I live! Their wait time is listed at the national average! I am mortified!
Our application is sitting in Texas just waiting in piles of others and now we may be waiting for up to a year more?!?!?!
SOMEONE PLEASE ASSURE ME THIS IS NOT TRUE!
I still see on VJ that there are US/Moroccan NOA2s occurring within the 5 month national average.
It is simply that one toggle system (I hope you all know what I mean) that has my heart in additional knots.
I leave in one week to spend six with my fiance, so there is some solace there, of course. But we HAD hoped that soon after would be the interview and APPROVAL finally bringing us together after the entire 2 year ordeal. (and I know some of you have had even more to deal with and approval is no guarantee, but optimism is my armor.
Blessings to each and every person facing this most challenging love.
Stay true to the connection and believe...
Thanks for any feedback you can give us regarding this apparent contradiction.
Allison and Didi
Don't Worry I really thought I did the same thing and then my NOA1 paper said it was going to CSC so just check you form again!!
Good luck and hope you get your fiance home from morocco!!!

Come on CSC and VSC and lets see some early feb approvals next week!!!

The consulate seems to go easier on female beneficiaries.
Are you both of same religious/cultural background?
How did you meet?
Is there anything about your relationship that would seem outside the realm of what would be considered typical Moroccan culture? If so, that would need to be addressed. For instance, in other situations, the situation has been an older American woman who marries a much younger Moroccan male, which tends to be atypical for the Moroccan culture. Something that does not necessarily fit into what is considered normal cultural practices would be scrutinized during the interview.
Yeah we have the same religous background and we met online... nd nothing that is wierd everything is normal
ahhh thsnk god she is younger than me !!

hey guys,
I am a little worried about the moroccan consulate as we approach the NOA2 and the home strech of the k-1 process.. I was wondering because i have read in some reviews they have declined people without even looking at there proof of realtionship and after they asked only one question.
Background on the Relationship:
USC: 22 Years old Male
Applicant: 20 Years old Fermale
Met in August 2011
Engaged December 2011
Chat History: 600+ pages
Pictures: 1500 Pictures
3 Trips so far to morocco
Both Families have met each other in morocco
She speaks French, Russian, Arabic, and English.. Her English is alright
Any tips for her?!
anything Im missing I really want her to pass her interview as I just bought a Condo recently and waiting for her arrival in chicago!!!
