I guess I will join the party tonight, too. I got home from work and my status at USCIS was changed to post decision activity for approval. I just got off the phone with my fiancee, as I wanted to let her know about it before posting here. Thanks for everyone's support. So many of you are literally only hours away from your approvals now. Stay strong - it is coming and I'm very excited to watch the rest of your approvals roll in!

Speaking from first hand experience the is ABSOLUTELY NOT TRUE! I got pregnant ( unplanned) the last time I was with my fiance. I filed for him, and when I realized how long the process was taking and he wouldnt be able to come here to see the birth of our baby, I tried to expediate our request and I was denied. I have been waiting just like everyone else. My application was not sped up in anyway shape or form. I waited 6 months for my NOA2 and I have to go through the rest of the process like everyone else. I wish people would stop saying that cause I feel like some of the men who are trying to scam to get to America are impregnating women just to get a visa. Also when you have a baby that another person to add to your family size, which depending on the USC income may hurt you when you have to send in the financial information cause now your a family of 3 instead of 2. Also I was faced with the reality that this process could take another year if something bad happened which means thats time my child is missing being with her father 1 trip a year isn't enough, plus with a child you cant be free to travel as before cause you have to work as much as possible to provide. AGAIN PLEASE DO NOT LISTEN THAT FOOLISHNESS!

So i got NOA2 yesterday 10th September, all very exciting. I'm assuming it takes the NVC a few days to get the information, when should i start to ring ?
What follows from here, when i can arrange medical and so forth.

Totally agree with you M&R. I'm guessing Gowan is a CSC filer.

Here's reality:
They have a certain number of adjudicators. They should manage them so that everyone has the same wait time.
If they hire more some time in the future, great. BUT THEY DON'T HAVE MORE RIGHT NOW. So what they need to do, is apportion their resources in an equitable manner.
And no, it's absolutely NOT fair that some people wait 3 months and others wait 7.
Also, compare apples to apples. I compared K1 visa petitions with beneficiaries in Mexico and NOA1 dates from 2/1/12 to 3/30/12. Know what I found? 8 at CSC - 7 have NOA2s and 3 have interviews set up already. 5 at VSC - with ZERO NOA2s. NONE. NADA.
Look me in the eye and tell me that's fair, when I paid the same fee those filers did. Better yet, look my baby in the eye and tell him it's fair that he has to wait twice as long to meet his daddy than he would if we lived in a CSC state.
THE WORKLOAD - NOW - IN REALITY - SHOULD BE FAIRLY SHARED. More adjudicators is NOT a reality TODAY or any time soon. Unfair wait times are a reality TODAY. Fair distribution of the workload would solve it TODAY.
How is that so hard to comprehend?

You can't compare a single case to a single case. But you can certainly compare averages. Right now, CSC is working on May/June. VSC is working on February. Get the facts.
