It's been a while! Rayon arrived January 8th, we were married March 3rd...found out 4 days later that I am pregnant! Baby boy is due November 16th. We applied for AOS April 7th, and received EAD/AP on June 19th. Our green card interview was June 20th- easy and approved! This has been a great experience since Rayon's arrival.

11 days until POE...It's been almost one year since I sent our application. I am so happy we are finally going to be together, and that we have made it through some hard times.

My baby gets to fly 1st class in style on his first plane ride! TO ME!!! Can't wait. I need to hug him.

It's been 23 days since we were approved, but the visa is held under AP...calling DOS everyday but nothing new. Feel like this will never end. I need my fiancé here with me during this difficult time.

Finally got a response from the embassy. They said, "Thank you for your inquiry. Unfortunately we do not have an exact time frame of when the visa will be issued. The file is undergoing administrative review at the current time. There is no definite time period of when this will be complete. Our visa officers are working hard to complete all cases so please be patient." Ugh...wonder how long will this take? And if I sent info about the family emergency if it could be expedited at ...

My mother is very sick and in the ICU...my heart is breaking. Please pray for her and my family. I want Rayon to meet her.

The wait suddenly feels endless...trying to put together a small wedding but everything is still so uncertain as we haven't received the visa yet...Really just missing Rayon. I need a hug! Lol

Yay!!!!!! DHL says "Shipment Picked Up"!!!!!! What's next? So happy it doesn't seem the storm delayed things much.

Is it normal for the DHL tracking site to say "No result found for your DHL query. Please try again."? Or am I entering the number wrong? I'm assuming it's too soon for the visa to have been issued yet so the site wouldn't say anything yet? Lol this part ok the journey is kinda fun.

I'm scared- Rayon just called and he lives in the mountains...Lots of rain and wind already and the hurricane hasn't even hit yet! His house is so old and he says it's cold. Praying everyone comes through this safe.

Thanks! I just finally got through to his cell- power poles/lines down everywhere and his roof is leaking but overall he's doing great! He said the wind made his head spin so he just tried to sleep through it. Whew! Now hoping our visa being issued isn't delayed much by the storm. Not a problem if it is though...I'm just so glad he is ok! Hope there isn't too much damage in Jamaica from this storm- too much of a strain on the people and economy.

Medical complete, picking up police report on Friday, then will email the embassy for a window appointment. Almost there...
