YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We are basically approved , pending the delivery of the medical and police report! R just has to return to Kingston with the documents and go to a window interview and they will review everything real quick and approve the visa as long as that is all good- which it should be!!!! Beyond happy right now... Didn't think they would do the full interview today, but they did!

Interview is in 8 hours! R and I have been Skyping the evening away...Hahaha he's getting up in 3 hours! Feeling confident we will receive the blue slip. Nothing but love and a great future waiting for us!

So far no response from the embassy via email. We will still go to the interview on Thursday then, and hope for the best. Hoping for a blue slip to return later once he has the police report and medical in hand.

Passport to be picked up tomorrow! So happy we have it just in time for the medical on Tuesday and then interview on the 20th!

How many days before K's interview did he have his medical done?

The consulate scheduled our interview for August 21st...just 11 days after the original. This is not going to work for us, either. Just sent an email with a more specific request to be rescheduled again for at least mid-September. I am in shock right now. Please, let them be amenable.

I am so thankful for the consulate's willingness to reschedule our interview, and excuse some errors on paperwork recently discovered. New date should be know within the next few weeks. Feeling very lucky and also grateful for the support of my family, Jamaicancricket, and Rayon's sister. Time for bed.

Happy Interview Day!!!!

NVC hasn't received my case yet and it's been 16 business days! Now I'm instructed to scan my approval notice and email it to the NVC...

Now that I have the I-797, acceptance of I-129f, receipt in hand, I'm not certain of the next step...do I receive a packet with further instruction, or does it just go to my fiancé in Jamaica? I thought it would have arrived by now but he hasn't heard anything from the post office...

So excited- NOA2 notification received last night at 8:30! Rayon's replacement passport has not been delivered, however...this could become a major hold-up!

Wondering if I should start paperwork for the next step? It's almost been 5 months, so hoping to hear something soon!
