    Greg your situation is a very delicate one to state the least. I can relate to this so much its shameful. Of course like some have stated, my ex wife cheated on me with not just one but multiple men. I hired a PI and did my own and got undeniable proof of what she had done. To boot it was a 14 year long marriage with two kids involved. Okay, enough about me. I agree with those who stated that ex are nothing but trouble...its true!! Still today as much as I don't like my ex, she's still trying to cause issues in other ways with me and my now fiance...She found out from the kids about us and ever since she's been doing things to hurt... Did I say enough about me?LOL...I say all of that to say..Greg, do yourself the biggest favor you can...dissolve it now and find another who will love you wholeheartedly. You are a commodity and should be treated and respected as one. Touche' to those who said that faithfulness is still an asset in any relationship. I don't agree with it and have never done it. If I am with you then that's it..why look for another? She will find out that the grass isn't always greener on the other side. Yeah its an old saying but still holds true nonetheless...     We're talking about a woman who is a filipina now living in America, married with children...but went to the Phils over the summer and allegedly married a filipino boyfriend or whatever she has carried on an online affair with meeting from time to time in different countries for 'catch up' time. That's why I ask if it is possible or not?

    @aaron2020...This is Rena's fiance...I thank you for your answer but next time ease up a bit...its just a question and no harm was meant in asking nor in my reply of clarification. Again, thanks now lets move on.

    Okay let me clarify. My apologies for not giving you all more insight. I have an aunt who has somewhat emancipated from the family bond, she's married to an American man but has secretly been carrying on an online affair with a filipino man back where, the Phils. Family is now upset because of said rumors that she has come to the Phils to now marry this man in a civil ceremony. My question again, is this possible to do if she is still married? To answer any further questions..yes she knows that some of the family is aware of her affair but of course she does not care. Can you...will you please provide some insight. To the one who sent me a message in tagalog, salamat po.

    Hello family,

    Just got some news about someone close to my fiance and I who is rumored to have gotten married to someone else in the Phils while still married to another in the US. I know this may seem redundant...but is it possible?? Can that actually happen in the phils? Please...anyone with any knowledge of this please advise asap. God Bless All...

    I know this is kind of old but I just returned back from the Philippines. But I wanted to give a brief assesment of what happened at her interview. My fiance's interview was on June 20th, I scheduled it for when I would be there so I could go too. I went there with her with extra of everything needed file wise just in case. I spoke to both the Filipino Official and the American CO. They were both happy to see that I came along as well, so that they could talk to me and see how we reacted to each other. But the filipino co got a really big kick out of seeing my dear and me laugh at each other. Because she is from Compostela Valley, which used to be apart of Davao del Norte when she was born, her birth certificate says Davao Del Norte. He asked her where she was born at and she replied "Compostela Valley, but it sounded like Compostela Valet". Then I laughed I told her it is Valley not Valet and we were joking and laughing. The CO said that he could tell that it is legitimate and then passed us forward to the American CO. The CO then said that she is "APPROVED for the K1 visa". We were so happy and just plainly ecstatic at all this. Because we were so nervous and scared.

    I am going to Manila and we are flying to the USA after my contract here in Afghanistan is done. So we CANNOT wait.....

    I just want to thank everyone on here who have helped me out by answering my questions no matter how stupid they were. Now all we have left is the CFO seminar.

    Expiring Philippine Passport

    I am waiting for our K-1 visa to be approved which we hope to be sometime in November 2012. My fiancee's passport is going to expire in August 2012. I have a few questions about renewal.

    1) Can she renew her passport in September instead?

    2) Is it ok for her to use for Visa purposes a Philippine passport that is expiring less than five years?

    3) Under the online application's purpose of travel, she is going to put "migration"?

    4) Does she need the following? Green/MRP Passport - Php 200.00 and E - Passport - Php 350.00

    Hi i just renewed my passport last July 2.

    1. She can renew it whenever she wants but she should have her new passport before interview. But more convenience to do it earlier to avoid hassle.

    2. Under Philippines law, passport should be 6 months valid before travel period.

    3. Yes, I put mine "migration".

    4. She needs old passport, I.D. and to be sure, she can bring with her Birth certificate and NBI (i did not asked for BC and NBI but its better to be ready just in case).
