we had same situation did they asked you to signed a sworn statement of anti-fraud? thanks for this info i felt relief because after the interviewed i was shock, sad they told me you were not approved or denied we will check your case again and wait for the result after 1-2 weeks. thank you so much..

Yes its an affidavit with your information on it and saying all the information you told them is true and correct, you raised your right hand and sworn. After I signed the affidavit i asked for a copy and asked them if i am denied. The good thing is that the one who interrogated me is from my hometown (but we dont know personally, he just mentioned after a long interrogation and we talked in our regional language(waray). After i sworn and signed the affidavit i asked him and the white american (i think he is the head of fraud department) if i am denied, they laughed together and told me, you can go home now and we will contact you 1-2 weeks. Girl, i tell you i was so deppressed while on my way home and cried so much when i reached home. But my fiance check my visa status and He told me to cheer up because my visa was ISSUED!

hello vj's family.. i just finished my interview this day, it's very tough interview because they interviewed me twice one american consul and one filipina consul. the filipina consul interviewed me for two hours asking every detail of our relationship of my fiance. after my interview the consul didn't told me anything if i'm approved or denied and didn't returned my passport... now i'm bothered am i approved or denied? please advice me i don't know what to do next... thanks

We had same experienced! I was interrogated in room 44 for two hours too! And I tell you, felt exhausted mentally and phusically after the interview! The good thing is that if they keep your passport it means you are approved. You can track your visa in www.ceac.state.gov. then go to "immigrant" click status visa and put your MNL case no then click submit. If visa status is "ISSUED" then you are approve.

I got my visa after 6 working days.

Yes you can but you need to bring the Letter from NVC with manila case no. Thats what i did last February 1, 2013. Dont forget to bring original passport, 3pcs, 2x2 ID picture and much better to register online and print print it 2 copies.

Have anyone tried flying through China Airlines here? How was it? Were thinking of using China airlines(MNL-PEKING CHINA-JFK) in going to US..

Sis I will be leaving on April 27. Maybe you can contact my travel agency they are offering Cathay Pacific in a reasonable price. One of my friend told me that food served from China Southern Airlines is not good.

I highly recommend going by the book as if a person is caught falsifying their K1 then they are subject to a lifetime ban. I would stay away from Fixers of any kind. I lived in RP and know how they work. Some take your money and run leaving you with nothing but an empty wallet. Once again, do the right thing and get her marriage annuled. It may take some time. But time versus lifetime ban is better to do it right I believe.

I agree! US Embassy will know that she is MARRIED and if this happened, she will be forever BANNED to travel US.

Hello VJ friends, I am going to fill out DS-156 form, just want to ask in the First and Middle Name ( as in passport) do i need to put my middle name (as in my moms maiden name) ex. Renalyn Alde? or just Renalyn alone.?

I had my medical last Feb 1 without interview schedule yet. I just show Letter from NVC and online registration, copy of my passport (bring original passport too) and 3pcs 2x2 I.D. pictures. After i passed the medical i pay for k1 visa and scheduled my interview.

You can do your medical without schedule of interview as long as you have Letter from NVC with MNL case no. Hope this help.

Congratulations!!! My fiance will have her seminar on Monday. She just passed her medical on Friday...got results in one day! Interview will be in another week. I'm apprehensive yet prayerful. I know I can't be both...so I'll say I'm prayed up and believing that we will get approved. Again, congrats to you!! Hope hers is that smooth.

I got mine last Sept 2012. Went online, paid thru GCASH (Globe Center) then went to NBI Manila on Sept 4, 2012. Those who applied online were entertained in a small room, it took me only 30 min or less. I was asked to come back after 3 days. Got my clearance then. When you pay thru GCASH you will be given a slip and instructions are stated there. God bless you.

I just got mine last week and did the same thing. Pay in G-cash then registered online, went to Robinson Galleria around 4:30pm queue is not that long then go to STEP 3 (Biometrics)and they will schedule releasing of your NBI (i got mine after one week).
