  1. THank you so much for this link. I sent this to my fiance. THis is very helpful.

    Rena

W2 is a statement from your employer that shows how much money was earned for the year. 1040 is an income tax form that is filed and sent to the govt for income taxes.

Thank you so much so I still need the 1040 for my interview right? or W2 is enough?

  2. In my case when i was interviewed as fiancee i have the copy of my original authenticated birth certificate from NSO, divorce decree, picture both of us and picture of both of us together with my family and my only daughter as a proof that we see each other and know each other and my family as well. The consular officer asked me that documents and he compared it to the documents that my fiancee submitted to them. Picture is number 1 proof and engagement ring as well. Let your fiancee bring that documents during the interview ( your fiancee Birth certificate not yours.)

Thank you so much, this help a lot. :-)

  3. We would like to call USEM to follow up if they already receive our papers from NVC. What number we must call? We are K1, is it ok that I, the Beneficiary, will be the one to call(afterall i am the one who is here in Manila)? or it must be my Fiance who will call them? They have international number? I mean no charge if my fiance will call from US?

    Any help is highly appreciated.

    THank you so much,

    Rena

  4. WOW...2 months!!! I don't mean to make matters worse for you but I received my hardcopy with my MNL number on it today. Well yesterday considering the time. I received the NOA2 ON Jan 3 via email and hardcopy of that on JAN 8. Then again my MNL number just yesterday. God is good. Not sure if you can do this but you should try to email them and request it. Whomever is state side should email NVCInquiry.state.gov and simply state that you cannot proceed without a hardcopy of your MNL number. Hey it worked for me. I'm actually pleased at the turnaround time. My fiance couldn't be more happy too. Good luck and God Bless us All!!

  5. Okay so we've received our Noa2 and now have our MNL number..not the hardcopy yet. My questions are as follow please..

    1. Does my fiance need a copy of my divorce decree or the original copy?

    2. Does she need just a copy of my birth certificate?

    3. I haven't received my w2 for 2012 yet...will copies of the past 3 years suffice?

Somebody..anybody please just fill me in on what I really need to send her?? I have a copy of the employment verification letter from my job that I sent in with the I129 but since my job has changed the company name and I now make more. Do I need an updated copy of the employment letter? I also have a deduction order for child support...should I include a copy of that with the documents I send. I did not include it with the I129. Please advise?? Thanks to all who respond...

  8. I see that your I-129F petition was approved by the USCIS on December 19. Now it seems that you have received a letter from the NVC. Does that letter have your MNL case number on it? If so, then your fiancée should pay her visa application fee at BPI, then schedule an interview online, then complete her medical.

If you have not received your MNL case number from the NVC, then you should call them and get it.

When scheduling an interview online, print out the appointment confirmation. That's the document she needs to be admitted into St. Lukes for her medical, and she also needs it for her Embassy interview.

The only thing the Embassy sends to K-1'ers is a letter notifying the beneficiary that they are eligible to schedule an interview and giving the beneficiary instructions on how to prepare for the interview. However, don't wait around for the Embassy's letter because you will waste a lot of time waiting for it. Sometimes it never arrives. Instead, get your MNL case number, pay the visa application fee, schedule an interview, and complete the medical.

If you want to read the Embassy's letter, click here.

This is very helpful. I posted somewhat same topic. Got my MNL Case no. THank you so much for the link.
