POE today and the first thing the guy in secondary says to us is, "K1 visa? I thought they didn't do those anymore. Are you sure you have a valid visa???" Yeah...it was a cringe worthy 45ish minutes let me tell you. More to come in my review this week!
Oh yikes! Where did you POE again? My interview is this Friday morning at 10am. I ended up postponing my interview so that I wouldn't have to worry about activating my visa when I wasn't ready to activate.
I POEd at the Blaine/Pacific Highway crossing. Maybe it just depends which officer you end up getting but if I had to recommend a crossing based on my experience, I'd suggest Peace Arch instead. Maybe you'd get lucky and get someone else, and maybe not! Either way I got across so yay
