Just got the email accepting our DS3032! hopefully we will get the IV bill today too but I just checked and not yet.

You can check list of scheduled interviews at this site http://santodomingo.usembassy.gov/immigrant_visas.html
Thats how I found out my interview date for the K1.

Mine got approval May 30, case recieved June 25 # assigned June 27. aOS paid July 9. I think thats pretty typical these days?

We are in the DR right now and are almost done with the NVC. We will be here until the end of the month but I am sure we will not get our interview while we are here but can we take our daughter to get her medical with only her sdo# or do we have to wait for the packet we will receive after all done at NVC?
-
I sent my DS3032 on July 2 but didnt receive any info if it had been accepted. Then got bill for AOS and its now marked paid. Still no notice of DS3032 acceptance. Then yesterday recieved email say we needed to submit the DS3032. What's up? Did I submit it too soon?

Not only did I pay but it's already showing paid. Waiting for my IV bill now. Going to mail everything together I think because am mailing from out of country and don't wanna pay twice. I read that was ok. Hope it is!

You are just after us! 012 good luck!
-
It changed late yesterday! Paid the AOS! Yeah. Hopefully yours will change soon.

Hi All, can tHe D230 and AOS be submitted via email? We are out of the country visiting my step-daughter and thought I read somewhere that everything would now be via email with the NVC. I'm worried that I messed up. should I have had the packet ready to send via snail mail and left it with my mom to send?
-
I used both names, mostly because every document in his country has both names. His passport, BC and state ID all have both names. Important that they all match up I imagine.

Yes, that is what it looks like. It has this same message today too. Today is the 6th business day since I got our NVC case number along with the INN. We sent the DS 3032 4 business days ago. Hope it starts moving now??!

Oh ok! Anything out of the ordinary makes me worry!

My date was May 30. nVC finally received on June 25th. I got my new case number and invoice number on the 28th of June but nothing since then. I sent them the DS3032 already from my husbands email (my step daughter's father of course!) hope you all get your numbers soon!

K-1 visas have a very different process at NVC than the spouse or family visas. So, its hard to compare timelines. I finally got my new case number a week ago and am now waiting for the invoice to pay my fees at the nVC and file DS 230. Already sent DS3032 but haven't heard if it was accepted. I thought thungs were supposed to speed up after you received your new case number and invoice number but NO! Trying to have payience like everyone else! :-) at least we get to spend the month with our little girl since we are visiting right now. but its going to be so hard to leave her this time since I'm sure we will not be assigned an interview this month.

A few days ago (when I was in the states), I was able to sign on the invoice page with my case number and invoice number but it told me that I couldn't pay because it hadn't been invoiced. But when I checked yesterday (from the DR) it would not even let me into the site. It says the site cannot process my payment at this time and to contact the NVC if I have any questions. Its been a week since they gave me the new case number, invoice number, and beneficiary number. We sent the change of agent paper via email from My husband's email so he will receive all her papers. We haven't heard anything. no word on paying the fees or submitting the DS 230. Should I be worried? I know everything takes time, it took almost a month for the NVC to recieve our packet from USCIS but three days later they had assigned a new case number. I thought it speeded up from that point. I am trying not to worry. We are out of the country visiting for a month and its hard to call the NVC but maybe I'll just have to do that. I don't want to slow down the process because I miss something being down here.

Help! It looks like everything i find is about spouses. We submitted an I-130 also but its unclear if we have to submit the DS 230 and DS 3032 just like the spouse visa. Ours is for our little girl. I gave my email to the NVC and my husband's email for his daughter. do I need to send a change of agent form? Or will they automatically already send the packet to my husband at his email? Thanks!

I'm almost one month in and no number. Depends on if you mean 30 working days or one calendar month. I hear its talking up to a month for it to be received and another 10-15 working days to get in the system. Thats what I wastold when I called the NVC. Hope you hear soon but know you are not alone.

Stephanie,
Do you know if they have one of those EZ guides for children? The NVC just got our approval.
Thanks so much.

Just to give you all a little hope. Yesterday I would have been in the same boat as you, approval on May 30 and everyday they told me that they had not recieved it. Last week I sent an email with a scanned copy of my approval to NVCresearch@state.gov. Today's call went a little better, they have it but then they told me it will take then 10-15 business days to get it into the system. Its so frustrating that it's taking so long. Hope your good news comes soon! Best we can be is patient.

Mine is coming from CSC, approved on May 30 but NVC says they haven't recieved it yet. Trying so hard to be patient.

Hi all,
Anyone who can clarify the payments for child on I-130 at NVC. Is it 88+230? do you have to pay fees again at embassy? I know we have to pay for medical before interview but confused about other payments given that we pay at the NVC. Trying to budget next few months. With my husband we didn't pay at NVC but did pay fee at embassy. Hoping for fast approval for all!

Oh sorry just assumed that she was a little one. If she is capable of dealing with the packet you don't have to do the change of agent. Also, you don't need to wait for a visa to come available. What i meant is that you will be given a new case number, different from the case number that you had at the USCIS. Thatwill be the new number that you will use to track your case. The invoice ID # is the number that will allow you to pay the fees that are due to the NVC. I hope that makes more sense. I've been told not to wait the 15 business days they tell you to wait, but to only wait a week and then call every day.
Wishing you a speedy time at NVC

Congrats! I know that very excited feeling that then just becomes another wait and see time period. When I brought my husband, the NVC was just a pass through and so quick. I have been reading everywhere that unfortunately its not that easy with our children. Mine was approved May 30. I started calling them on June 4th to see if I had a new number. They told me they don't have it yet and don't expect it until June 20th. At that point I can get the new number and the invoice ID #. i've been told we will need to submit our support info, like taxes and pay an additional fee. I think the fee is $88+230. You will also give them your email and need to submit a change of agent form so that they send you the packet instead of the beneficiary. I don't know how to link you to another post but if you search for Lingche NVC shortcut on this website it gives you all kinds of great advice. I hope our cases go through much quicker than is actually predicted. I'm sure you are just as anxious to have your step-daughter here with you as I am. But I do get to go spend a month with her next month, so I feel especially lucky. All the best and please let me know if you hear anything from the NVC.
Best
Tracey

Thanks for the info. It's interesting because i didn't show the support documents until we were at the interview for my fiance who is of course now my husband. Also, we paid the $230 at the interview as well. The NVC weblink you sent says NVC collects that fee for the embassies andd uses the word "if" requested. Does that mean it's a possibility that they might not ask for the supportdocument until the interview and that the fee if paid at the NVC would not have to be paid again at interview? Oh and who did they send the packet to with all the instructions and medical info?
Thanks

I emailed the ds3032 via my husbands email on july 2 and paid aos bill july 9. Marked paid july 10 and got Ds3032 acceptance email today. Waiting for IV bill now. Hopefully your email comes soon. When did you send it? Ours took 10 days but July 4th may have slowed it down?!
