if you are going to apply for a visitors visa, you have to prove very strong ties to your country. Casablanca is a tough consulate to get a visitor visa from to visit the U.S. (good job/money saved in bank/house etc)
As for it affecting your Diversity Visa application, I do not know the answer to that. But good luck!

did you call NVC and ask what part was wrong on the form?

I meant to say at the end that Casablanca is a *tough* consulate, not touch... sorry!

Casablanca is a tough consulate. Do you have any receipts from traveling? Any time in a hotel together? Anything extra along with the plane tickets, passport stamps, Marriage Certificate translation... anything online.. chats, messages, etc.. proof of phone calls.. things like that to add to show ongoing length of relationship? no wedding photos? you may want to write a memo and enclose it as to why there were no photos. (understand you completely with the time!! took me 3 out of my 4 week visit to get my marriage papers!! ) They want the proof. If you can't show them, maybe an explanation why will help. (stressing again... Casa is a touch consulate!) Best of luck!

the birth certificates in Morocco do expire. Every 3 months I believe. I do not think the new ones they just started using do, not sure what one was used for your case. You may want to call and ask if you need current ones for the interview. In my opinion better to have it and not need it. A friend of mine had to wait after interview in AP to resubmit the expired documents before approval. (Casablanca Embassy) best of luck!

congrats to you both!!

I am so sorry to read this, seems like NVC was playing games with you. Hope it doesn't happen to anyone else.
thank you. and it seems like a game now. I hope it does not happen to anyone else either, that is why I was sharing what happened with me.

The highlighted picture of the checklist you showed in an earlier post actually says:
"Please complete/print your form in black ink."
It does not specifically mention the signature. Was everything other than the signature in black ink on the I-864 you sent in?
it was printed in black ink. I signed it in black ink. they said my black ink looked navy blue to them. so yes. the form was completed in black on. and printed out in black ink. and signed in black ink. and it was new black ink too. not faded. fresh black ink
For real???
I wish I was joking! Yes.. for real

@ Tino, I am positive that was the only thing on my checklist. NVC even had to check with a supervisor to make sure! In an earlier post I showed a highlighted photo of where I was told to sign in black ink. I am waiting to get another checklist saying I signed in black, I need to sign in blue Ready to print out 10 copies and sign in many different colors to be safe! hahhaha!

Wow, that is beyond ridiculous!!! Almost sounds like they wanted to delay your process and couldn't find a reason, so they just went with the most stupidest one.
that is the part where I am confused! it is driving me crazy!
-
I think you may be the first person I've seen that has gotten a checklist solely cause you signed in blue ink...
That's just ridiculous...
I thought it was ridiculous too. I had to ask her a few times to make sure I heard her correctly. I am not one who calls every day or every week. I give it time. Just wondering now if it will take 60 days to say "yup, that right ther is black ink!" almost at my 30 of the 60 days!

this is from my checklist. .everything else was empty. they said this is all they could find. I understand but I don't. Considering my first checklist was I added income and assets together, and checked a wrong box. I understand that. I sent the corrections in, even signed in black ink. They claim it was not black ink. Not sure why. I have been at NVC a long time. Then they said my husband had undeliverable email address? We use it everyday. It works fine. Even had them verify they had it wrote down correctly. Just tired of the process. It has been a long journey so far.

You got a checklist for signing in blue ink?
yes I did. they were firm on the phone. they told me it is a legal contract and has to be signed in black ink. they told me that was the ONLY thing wrong with my I864. And then they told me when I send it, i have to wait 60 days before I can call back and ask. They will get a hold of me! She even had her supervisor confirm it ..that it was the reason I had a checklist as my checklist was blank. 2 days after my call,, I received the checklist saying I had to sign in black ink.. and that was the ONLY thing on it!

the date on that paper says the year 2012. is that when she had it done? is that an example? is there a more recent one?
if she had the fbi search done more than a year ago.. she will need a current one.
if she had one done less than 1 year, then it is fine. I had my fbi paper a few months before I went
to Morocco to get married, I think 3 or 4 months before I went. Best of luck!
