If you're going by yourself then I would definitely take cdneh's recommendation, whilst our hotel was ideal since we wanted to have some Beale Street time, the walk up to the Memphis office was only 5 mins but in that time, we were stopped a couple of times and hit on for  money. Definitely not an environment I would want to be in as a lone female.

Congratulations rana, what a relief! It's hard to know what difference contacting a senator may make - but their assistants told me that the USCIS office doesn't like to be hassled by interference, which can be a good thing!

I want to point out here, that I called my Senator's Office today and asked them whether anyone saw my email and whether anyone has done anything about it. They informed me that "THEY DID NOT."
So, just to be clear, my senator's office DID NOT influence the notice of my "Oath Date." 
This was just a co-incidence!
 
 

Online status updated to Oath Scheduled and letter is in the mail. I should receive the letter in a few days and find out the Oath Date.
I did send an email to my Senator's Office yesterday.

Am officially a US citizen today . Thank you everyone for your love and support couldn't have done it without you guys am glad to have known each and everyone of you . To those still waiting have faith there will be light at the end of the tunnel just keep pushing and praying your turns are just around the Conner. Love you all and be safe. Thank you once more . Great day, 30 newly minted USC from 15 countries. No judge at ours, just the head from USCIS Memphis. Our appointment was for 13:00, and we were all done in an hour. They really do have a very nice way of organizing it, and making it special, quite a lot of people were in tears at the end. I...am not a crier I could have cried when I saw the certificate, they used the photo from biometrics, rather than the passport pictures they wanted, and I have never seen a worse photo, of anybody!
 
We drove through the absolute worst weather the day before, for 20 minutes on the AR side of the river. I could see the yellow line on the side of the road, and the 18 wheeler next to me, but nothing else.
The Hotel, same one as last time, mysteriously upgraded us to the penthouse Very grand.
 
Glad to be all done and dusted. Well, except for a passport, the DMV, the SSN...

Went to my Oath Ceremony this morning - what a beautiful ceremony. At was at the Federal Courthouse so it was a judge presiding - he was very gracious in his comments and it was all so moving! We were in there a couple of hours from the appointment time, at the end of which we were awarded our certificates like a graduation! Fantastic experience - we were all given our first American flags and a letter each from the offices of our 2 senators and our congressman.
 
Like everyone else who's got this far, I'm happy to be done with it; I'm happy to be a USC and feel like USCIS and I just got a divorce!

I edited my post above to include a link to the Travel.gov website - it will let you search on zip code to see where your nearest one is to you  

I took it to the main post office that has a passport acceptance facility (Little rock has one) - they took a passport photo on site. They process in 3 weeks.

Passport application submitted this morning - went for expedited since it otherwise processes in 6/8 weeks and not guaranteed. I don't like the idea of not being able to leave the US and am very aware I currently have no re-entry document! It reminds me of the period waiting for AOS!
 
I've had my certificate of naturalization for 24 hours and already given it away!
