  1. The parking lot was full this morning. Maybe they all went on vacation and parked at the VSC then took taxis to the airport to save parking fees. Naaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhh.

You are checking an unreliable system and asking why it isn't working. Because it is unreliable.

    lol

  2. Hi all,

I've seen that there are no discussions re February 2012 IR-1/CR-1 USCIS petitioners. Since I'm one of them I'm going to post re our journey and hope that all other Feb 2012 petitioners will post here so we can have enough information on processing centres progress.

Please give information on processing centres (VSC or CSC), NOA1 and NOA2.

    VSC

    NOA1: 27 Feb 2012

    NOA2: xx xxx xxxx

Best of luck and short journey to all of us.

    Cheers.

    I'm a Feb 12 filer.

    NOA1: 9 Feb 2012

    NOA2: Still waiting

  3. The timeframe for I-130 is 5 months. Some get approved before and some get approved after this time frame, it's just an estimate. 5 months would mean they are processing November. Be patient, you will be approved soon enough.

You are right, but when I see that many people got their I-130s approved within 3 months, I get little impatient.

  4. Could not stop to share with you guys.......

    Petition I -130 is approved....

When I checked yesterday ( Friday afternoon), it was still on "Initial Review".....Couple of hrs ago ( Saturday), I was on USCIS website mainly to check time frame, I put my receipt number without any excitement...guess what I saw.....totally different lay out than what i used to see.....my CASE was approved as of Friday 14th April, 2012...........Can't believe...Checked the email that i got from Service center to make sure that I put the right receipt number.....But it was......

    :yes::yes: :yes

    Congratulations!

  5. I made a spreadsheet of all the I-130s I could find that were received on the same day as mine. I've got about 500. About 5% have been decided and 3% RFE'd. Now, maybe I'm missing a whole bunch but for 1 day in Feb that's not bad. They may be slowing down but they also seem to be working out of order. That may be part of what this list is showing us. According to Igor's list, nothing in Feb has been touched. I know that no one knows the whole truth about what is going on except VSC but my 1 day analysis is giving me something factual to hold on to- even if it is just 1 day!

    Keep your heads up, guys!

We received NOA1 on a same day. I was wondering if you could upload the spreadsheet on VJ.

  6. well, I have been watching Igors list and now at Vermont he has moved back the time to Dec. 30th. About 2 weeks ago it was at Jan 25th and I was getting excited because my priority date is Feb 1st. Then out of the blue he moved it to Jan. 4th. It progressed until Jan 16th, again I am happy we are getting closer. Now I check this morning and he moved it back again... Now it is at Dec. 30th... #######... This does not make any sense. What does this list mean??

I checked the chart and now the days have gone up a lot... now it is listed at 88 days.. It seems we gain no ground. As the days pass, the day's get longer for approval??? This is crazy.

Looking at I-130 NOA1s, It seems like more petitions have gone to Vermont Service Center since January. So, they are expected to slow down a bit.

  7. You know I just noticed that too. One receipt number before mine and one after mine have been approved but mine has not been touched yet. That's crazy. I'm a January filer too. Should I call?

Same here. Receipt number before mine is approved but others around mine are still in initial review. It is likely that approved cases were expedited. I do not think calling them will make a difference.

  8. I was just looking at the historical processing time charts for the Vermont Service Center and for I-130 petition it says that they are currently processing January 25, 2012 (based on VJ member timelines), but when I go to the timelines, I don't see any timelines with the NOA 1 before 1/25/12 being approved for the NOA2.  What are those charts referring to?  What other data are they using to come up with the processing date of January 25, 2012.  The last one I see approved for I-130 at VSC is sometime in December, 2011.

I have noticed something interesting. I was randomly entering receipt numbers based on my receipt number. When I entered numbers from EAC1290295857......EAC1290295860, I noticed that all of these petitions have been approved. Some petitions that were filed in late December haven't been approved, but many from January have already been approved.

  9. We got out NOA1 email today, 3 days after sending off the I-130 packet off from the Caribbean. After much hoping and praying, we got the word that our case has been sent to VSC. I've read and read and think that VSC looks like the safer bet. Sorry CSC filers! I know we have a good 5-6 months of waiting but I'm feeling encouraged for the moment.

    Wishing everyone speedy processing!

    Talia

Exciting, I got VSC too with and got my NOA1 email on same day.
