NVC recieved my file on 30th July (no further developments), I wanted to know which will be approximate interview date for me? Will it be somewehere in October or November?

Looking at recent VJ timeline, It will likely be in October.

My wife received email this morning stating that our DS-3032 is accepted. When will I be invoiced for IV fees?

Can someone help me here? This is urgent because I am submitting DS-230 and other documents pretty soon and I need some help with PCC.

My wife just got her passport (for the first time) few days ago. Does she need a local police clearance certificate to go along with DS-230? I have read somewhere that If the passport was issued within last 6 months it is not necessary. Will I get a rfe if I do not submit local police clearance certificate with DS-230? Can I just submit a letter with DS-230 explaining why she does not need a local police clearance certificate?

I know that we need to submit the PCC from passport office to VFS Post prior to interview?

There seems to be a confusion about the police certificate because most countries require it but it may not be the case for India.

Just got DS-3032 acceptance email from NVC. :) :dance: took them exactly 7 calender days.

Any idea how long does NVC takes to bill IV fee after DS-3032 acceptance?

I am hoping that My DS-3032 will get accepted tomorrow since I sent a day after you.

When I talked to operator at NVC yesterday, She said that my wife does not need a police certificate from regional police office but she will need one from passport office when she goes to Interview. When I called today, a different operator said that I would need to submit the Police certificate from police office with DS-230 and take one from passport office to the interview. I am really confused about the police certificates. Does anyone from India know if we have to submit the police certificate from regional police office with DS-230?

I tried to log in to the NVC payment site to see if a bill had been generated yet and it says: You cannot make online payments for your case at this time. Please contact the NVC if you have questions or need further information.

In the past it has just show no bills available to be paid. Could this mean that someone is working on our file? Or is something wrong??

You will be Invoiced for AOS within a day or so. It happened to me the day before yesterday and I got invoiced for AOS yesterday.

I am going to guess and say that for a checking account a CO is going to want to see a fairly constant balance for a year or more in order to accept for the affidavit of support. (Business checking account will not likely be accepted.)

Can I go ahead and send AOS packet while AOS payment is in process?

Hi everyone. Earlier today, I called NVC to check if there's any progress with our visa app. Not that I was expecting great news but I figured I'd ask anyway. When I got through to an agent, she informed me that there isn't any progress with our case. However, she seemed a bit irritated that I had called NVC several times now and told me that it takes 10-15 business days for them to review our case. Is it ok to call NVC often? They seem to have a record of how many times I had called. Would it hurt our case if I do call often and keep following up our case?

From my experience so far, I do not think they keep record of how many times we call them.

1. I got two different type of transcripts from IRS. Which one should I include with I-864? One says Account transcript (form 1040EZ) and other says Tax Return Transcript.

2. I do not have the tax return from last year. Are tax transcripts sufficient? This may be a stupid question but I do not want a rfe at this point.

I have few questions regarding AOS:

1. I just paid AOS processing fee. I was able to print out Document Cover Sheet. Can I go ahead and send AOS documents or do I get a checklist from NVC?

2. I am going to use assets (checking account) as a part of I-864. Is last bank statement sufficient or shall I include last few statements?

I got my case number and invoice id number on friday. I was able to log in state website where I could see that AOS bill was not invoiced. When I tried to log in today it said "You cannot make online payments for your case at this time. Please contact the NVC if you have questions or need further information."

Does anyone have any idea what it would not let me log in this time but it did over the weekend?

So we got our case number today; 12 business days after our case arrived at NVC. How long do we have to wait for them to send us our documents? Once we have the IIN what else can we do to move this party down the road?? I feel like I can almost see the end of this process!

I got our case number yesterday as well. NVC gave me IIN when I requested yesterday. Can we go ahead and send DS-3032 or shall I wait for an email from NVC?

not true....we are not all waiting for case numbers. I have seen many, many, many couples with NOA2 long after ours already getting case numbers. And everyday. I am seeing more people receiving case numbers with a NOA2 date later than mine. Today I saw a couple with a NOA2 date 25 days after my NOA2 date.....yep! Case number!

Folks from VSC are getting case numbers faster than CSC.

Our K1 petition was approved July 03 @CA center see my timeline and we had received both text and email but not hardcopy yet.

it took 17 days for USCIS to send I-130 to NVC after it gets to NVC another 10-20 Business days to get the case number

I think CSC is little slower than VSC at sending I-130s to NVC.

Our I-130 was approved on July 2 but I have not received an email or text yet. I got my NOA2 in mail today. I think all of you should check status on USCIS website because email and text message notices may not be reliable. Luckily, I had checked our status on same day we were approved.

yes, your wife needs to send a photocopy of her Indian passport with biographic page as well as last 2 pages (where she will have her other biographic information printed). She will need to send this in her IV package including DS-230 form. Same needs to be submitted at VFS before interview.

My wife's I-130 has just been approved. She is still in process of obtaining her Indian Passport. When will I need copy of her Passport? Do I have to send a copy of her passport along DS-230? More experienced VJ members could help me here. Thank you in advance.

January 16 just seems to good to believe in because lot of VJ members are still not approved from Early Jan.

I just talked to USCIS and operator told me that VSC is working on I-130's from January 16. Wondering if anyone else got similar dates when they called USCIS?
