I just got mine. Most of them should be out in few hours.

If they really started scheduling our interviews then its good news for us...hopefully this wait will end sooner.

My case was completed Aug 13 and I just got my interview date.

No interviews for Mumbai people as well ..

Just called, we haven't been scheduled yet.

Just called NVC still no news on that interview date grr so frustrating

This is really frustrating now. This waiting game has been a nightmare. Usually NVC starts scheduling Interviews in first few days of the month, but we have not seen any concrete evidence that NVC has started scheduling for October.

This waiting game is killing me. This is worse than waiting for NOA2.

From what I heard Sept is full. I am hoping for 1st week of Oct.

Mumbai Consulate posted Interview Schedule for September. Folks, you may want to check to see if you've made it. I missed it along with lot of other people.

When I spoke to an operator today, he told me the automated system was no longer in use, and will be permanently remove. So speaking with an operator is the only way to receive information until NVC gets new system or process in place. The message on their answering machine now says, "Call between the hours of 7am - 12pm EST to speak to an operator."

Most people can still access Automated Response, but I have never been able to use Automated System.

Are you 100% sure that we can skip PCC at NVC and then my wife can take it during the interview. I just paid my AOS bill today and will have to send the DS-230 soon so please let me know. She has Mumbai consulate. Thanks.

I am sure because My case was completed earlier this week without PCC. I have talked to many operators at NVC and have received same response. If you have an interview at Mumbai Consulate, you only need a PCC from a passport office.

You should update your timeline, so we get an idea where you stand with the whole process.

1. Call NVC to find out if they issued a case number for you, If they did you can give them petitioner's and beneficiary's email. So, you can receive all correspondences by email rather than regular mail.

2. Your case only gets transferred to India after NVC issues an interview date.

What triggers DS-3032? Who informs whom?

Call NVC at 603 334 0700 to see if they have your petition. Once NVC receives your petition, they will issue a case number within couple of weeks. Once you have the case number, you can email the ds-3032. Follow the link below, It explains everything in detail.

Usually next business day. Meanwhile, You can mail out the AOS and IV documents because you can print out cover sheet for them both if you have already made a payment.

From what I have noticed if your case gets completed in or after middle of the month than you do not get interview in the next month, but than it gets pushed out by another month like in your case it might be November.

If ones case gets completed by beginning of the month than the chances of getting the interview in next month are very high.

Yes u r right..they usually post at beginning of month and then they update the same list by adding more Interviews in the end of month...so they will update this list..Just wait for some more days...

My case was completed as of today. I hope I can secure a slot for September Interview.

That's bad news if they are not scheduling anymore interviews. I was hoping to get a interview slot at least in Sept.

I think they will update it this week.

US Consulate in Mumbai recently posted an interview schedule for September on its website. They have 1344 interviews for month of August but they only have 770 interviews scheduled for September so far. Do they not schedule any more interviews once they release the interview schedule?

Looking at the breakdown, It seems like they would add September interviews because there are few working days when they do not have any scheduled interviews or too few for several days.

I have been spending too much time on VJ lately. I visit this website on average every thirty minutes to see if anyone has posted anything new. This wait is driving me crazy.

We mailed our Iv Package yesterday. lets see how long they take to process that and assign interview date

I mailed ours yesterday as well. Let's hope we both will get interview date assigned next week.

I just sent IV documents. Hopefully, my will case will be complete next week and they will assign an interview date soon after it.

Can you share what all documents you would be sending to NVC? I would like to know if you would be sending Original PVC (from local police station) or PCC (from passport office) or would submit PCC at the time of the interview?

1. Cover sheet from State payment website

2. DS-230 Part I signed and Part II- not signed

3. Original Marriage certificate

4. Original Birth Certificate

5. Copy of biographic page from Passport

you do not need PCC from local police if you have interview at Mumbai consulate. You will need to take PCC from passport office to the interview.

My wife has laminated both the original birth and marriage certificate . Is NVC accepting Laminated Certificate ???

I wanted to know that is there anyone whose case got completed at NVC without sending the following docs and instead of sending to NVC beneficiary took at the interview:

1. PCC from local police station and

2. PCC from passport office

For people whose case number starts with BMB..... (mumbai Consulate), they do not need a PCC from a local police station and they will take PCC from passport office to the interview.

I hope its in October, do not want to wait till November. However, I do not have a choice, just wanted to be mentally prepared about the Interview date. Thanks.

NVC recieved your file on 9th July, when was case number generated?

NVC has been slow assigning cases lately, It's been taking roughly two weeks from the time they receive it.
