Hi, just realized we have a very similar AOS timeline. Wondering if you are also living in LA? I have no idea why I haven't got any updates from the interview date.

Why my visa always got delayed? From the begining of NOA2, to visa pakcage delivery. Has been 10 days, still not issued yet?

Yes, I know, and I was with her and she was very nervous at the interview. She knew there would be a issue with her HK police certificate on the day of taking documents. I am sure she will get it done and you two will be together very soon. Gtr

Large volume of mail that the Consulate receives, they are unable to immediately process our documents! - Response from GZ Consulate! OMG, another waiting game begins.

That was so cool. Congrat on the visa in hand. Embassy also replied last week that Sep is full. My fiance emailed to request to expedite the interview date since he is undergoing some oral surgeries. No idea what would they response.

Wow, was surprised that how could you get a such early interview date? only five days after receiving P4? They reply usually takes 3-4 weeks after receive P4.

I got a call from the HK Embassy after I sent in my Packet 4 and they said all September was full and they ask me if I mind doing my interview in a week and I answered no of cuz!! Can't wait to get it over with, right?! LOL After the call, I went in for medical the next day and paid HKD400 extra to speed up the report. I was approved right on the spot one week later at the interview! =) I'm glad you are approved too!!!! Yahoo~!!!

Thank you. Don't worry. They will pick up soon since VSC has received thousands of complaints laterly. I am sure they will speed up. Hang in there and be patient. Contact whoever you supposed to contact when they overdue.

Yes, let's pray for the best. But it is really ridiculous. And we have tried everything possible - Congressman, Senator, Keep Calling, Expedite. None of above is working. We don't know if the service request is permitted by now.
