Connie and I met through her cousin, who was working for me at the time, and is something of a matchmaker. She knew we were both single and that we both needed someone, and gave us both a little push. It didn't take long for us to realize we were meant to be together. The problem? One big ocean between us. We communicated via email and phone for nearly three months before we were finally able to meet in person. The first time I saw her, it was one of those perfect moments, where the world stops and there's just the two of you.
