wow, things r getting so slow now. Haven't seen any approval lately

I'm also getting close to 11 months and havent heard anything yet. not even an RFE. In this case i'll file N-400 at the end of next month (my eligibility time)

its been 20 days since they received my additional stuff, and i've not got anything fr them yet. So frustrated

still waiting patiently after sending my package to USCIS 15 days ago. Cant wait for this to be over .....

God is GOOD!!!! I just called USCIS and was told over the phone by a level 2 representative that my case was approved yesterday (I called twice to confirm it is correct). But no email no text no approval letter yet. Does anybody have similar experience? I mean is it really approved or they just dont wanna get annoyed by me anymore by giving me that information? I still cannot believe it. I will post my update once I get it.

Great news! Its better than nothing, like mine, completely silence Just get all the evidence as requested, we will pray for you for immediate approval. Is the RFE general or specific? Did you submit those requested evidence the first time?

its pretty general. I did not submit enough the first time ( only sent in 3 month bank statement lolz ). Now i will send 3 yrs banks statement, 2011 tax and some more papers. Hopefully they won't be hard on me .

What is really going on with VSC? No news whatsoever with the rest of May cases here. I called them and was always told "intitial review" status. I am so sick of this waiting game! F*** USCIS!

they want me to send some more evidences. So i've been gathering some paper . Hopefully they will approve me this month or next month, which is perfect time to apply for citizenship .

dang, things r really getting slow for VSC Mayfilers . This is sucks

It has been quiet for the past few days here. I noticed that there is no new approval from VSC at all since last week. Even though 2 or 3 June filers got approved, their approval are from the local office instead of VSC. Seems that after VSC made a lot of progress in Jan and Feb (most May cases were approved in Jan), they are now doing something else (probably other type of application other than I-751) after they updated the most recent processing time (May 23rd). It is frustrating that the rest of our cases are left in the dark and dont know when they will touch it... Lets keep this post alive, and please update any information you have, regardless of a service request, or RFE, or even if an interview notice, so at least we will know they are still working on May cases. Thank you all!

i just called them back last Monday , and made another SR. Got a email couple hours later saying my case is still pending . I got mixed response fr VSC everytime i called .

August 2011 Filers;

Hang in there... VSC is completing "June 2011 Filers" now. If you consider the average time for VSC is 7 1/2 months to approve, we have still some time to go. My guess is we will be starting approved sometime in April. Until then, guys try to be patient !...

Wow, this is the first time I heard of this kind of information from uscis customer service people. The supervisor may have access to some internal information, but I was told twice that they have very limited information about i751 application in their system. I really hope this is good news and you will hear approval soon (maybe next week). Btw, I remember I saw somewhere here in the previous posts that mentioned or assumed that uscis officers usually make decisions really quick on easy cases, then some of uneasy cases will be up to the supervisor, and some may need more intensive reviews before they make a decision. That's why cases are not processed strictly based on receipt date. If what you were told was true, then probably it's in the supervisor hand. Keep fingers crossed, waiting for your good news.

i dont really care whos working at my case. At least i know that my case has been touched for once lolz

i called USCIS yesterday and got to speak to a supervisor. She told me that VSC was working on my case couple days ago and they r trying to come up w/ a decision. I hope she did not lie to me. Fingers and toes crossed .............

To the rest of May filers, VSC processing time is changed to May 23rd, so anyone who filed before this date can ask USCIS to open a SR now. Mine is May 31st, so I have to wait

Mine is May 17th . Will give them a call tomorrow. Hope i will receive some good news by the end of this month.

I received my approval letter today, the approval date was 02/10/2012 and the letter was from my local office (Orlando).

I feel for those that are still waiting, I never thought my approval would come through but it has so hang in there people it is only around the corner.

I am only 4 weeks from filing my N400 so I will see some of you over on the March Citizenship filing board.

EDIT- just to add, I called the USCIS twice this week to enquire the status of my application and twice was told that no update was available.... Both times this was after the date of my approval letter. Just goes to prove the information these guys have access to is always out of date.

For those of you still waiting hang in there. I think approval dates are based on local office processing dates rather than VSC in general. It seems VSC pretty much are the admin hub, making sure files are added to the national system, arranging biometrics, ensuring card is produced after approval. My actual approval letter came from the Tampa office and others have commented that theres also came from there local office, so this May 2nd date the NSC has been giving us is probably the date that the most behind office is processing. I pretty sure you will here in the next few weeks!

i have one question thar i need your guys answer . In the requirement , they ask for IRS tax return transcript for the last 3 year. I went online and order them. But they sent me the Account Transcript. Is this the same w/ tax return transcript or not ? If its not the same, how do i get my tax return transcript ? thx

i always asked for lvl2 supervisor but its still d same.

I don't understand why they don't tell us the truth. I called uscis several times and I felt that they don't know more information than us (online status), they don't have real time processing time, every time they had to check the processing time and always told me its may 2nd. So my gut feeling is that they don't have much more information in their system. But who knows.

i called them many time too but i got nothing new beside the info that i can get fr only. I get the same bs everytime " your case is still in the normal processing time. Plz allow another 15 days ............. "

p.s if VSC does not process files by receipt date then how they work ?????

I also received similar emails last week:

- one of them was letting me know that my green card is on my way

- another one confirming that USPS delivered my green card.

I got my green card in October =)

why they always do that to ppl already got their gc. Why dont they send those emails to ppl who has not receive gc yet ( like me lolz )

Congratulation ! I have a missed feeling when i see some1 get their gc. Half is happy, other half is worry.
