Alex and Sofya got a reaction from Penguin_ie in Husband is not in a childs birth certificate
If you want, you can add father to the birth certificate. They will send you the form to fill out and you'll get a new birth certificate with both names.
They didn't put father's name on my daughter's certificate and were happy to fix it. It only took them three times to finally do it right, but it is another story.

Agree, for the money we paid, we should get answers right away. If biometrics are not required simply send us a letter telling that and include a new case number so we can track it online. It should be that simple.

Alex and Sofya got a reaction from Daeras in Biometrics without Passport
Hello,
I was wondering if anyone had biometrics done without showing passport. If so, what kind of ID did you show?
Our problem is that my husband lost his passport and they refused to take him for biometrics without it. He showed his Georgia ID. They said to come back with consular ID.
We made an infopass appointment, but not sure if they will be able to help us.
It will take months to get a new passport. He did started a process two and a half month ago, and it will take at least four more month per cosular.
Any advices appreciated.
Thank you

Just wanted to post some update. My husband had infopass appointment today. The immigration officer personally made a phone call to the application support center and told them that they can accept my husbands Georgia state ID. My husband went to the application support center right away and was able to have his biometrics taken.
