Interviewed in London - my husband is a UK citizen - he just lived in MENA country for a while - senator made 2 inquiries into our case - just wrote to whitehouse & got a response from DOS - apparently the embassy requested documents recently but we never got a request - this is good now that there is some movement - *crossing fingers*

Hi uptwnbuddy - I'm curious are you Muslim or from a MENA country? I have thought about filing a Writ of Mandamus but I've been told if we are stuck in background/name checks then they will have no choice but to deny us if we try to force an answer w/a writ because we cannot be approved until checks are cleared...

Thank you both for the well wishes - I contacted my Senator to make another inquiry - even they admit the system is broken...hopefully this inquiry will bring some good fortune with it - I hope you get your NOA2 soon - 9 months is such a long wait - I feel like the wait times are getting longer and longer

Nope - we've been in AP this whole time - I just took a trip to meet him in Morocco at the end of May (he flew there from London so I could meet his family in Morocco) - but we are still waiting and praying...

AP...these 2 letters should be eliminated from the alphabet! Congratulations on your strength for making it this far...your day is just around the corner! I always feel excited to hit the next month mark because I know I am one step closer to being with my husband. You should be proud of your strength and your relationship and celebrate that you have made it this far through this difficult journey...our marriages will be stronger because of it
