      Thanks for the sympathy...it is tought...but there are many others who are waiting longer...10 months...a year...I can't even feel sorry for myself because we are not even the longest...I did contact my senator over a momth ago and finally got a response...but nothing they can do...just wait and be patient...

    i know i should be counting weeks instead of days and i know so many of us are in AP and i know some have been for far tooooo long. how do you do it? its so awful.

    wish i ws one of those ppl who could take a month leave from work and go to my husband.... but.. if i do that.. my job will be gone... :( dear GOD hear this pain im going thru... hear the tears we cry at night and during the day... pls find a way to bring us together... just want our happy ever after too....

      I know exactly how you feel - I have not seen my husband in a year and a half due to work and $$$...I am finally going to see him next month, but sadly it will only be for a week...it won't be enough - but I have no choice...I hope your AP finishes and you can see your husband soon! :)

    Just booked my flight to Morocco to FINALLY see my husband! It has been nearly a year and a half since we saw each other!

    our interview in london was approved. now after the Visa hasnt come in the timeframe london quoted we called, emailed, begged and they are saying mandatory AP. when i go to the embassy website on AP it says at interview we should have gotten a 221g and batch number to check AP list with. we are just regular working people. we cant afford an attorney. how do you know how to navigate thru this confustion and conflicting info? can anyone give any advice on this subject please?

      For the London consulate it is the same as your NVC case number...but I'm pretty sure you can only check non-immigrant cases on the embassy website - you will have to call the Department of State to check on your case....

    Called DOS today...we are still in AP...no updates...no news...nothing they could tell me :(

      Nothing yet...I meant to call the DOS last week but was very busy and didn't get to it...I will try to call this week...I'm trying not to focus on it too much or call too often...."a watched pot never boils"...have you heard any updates from the DOS?

      No - he had his interview on October 21, 2011 but we have been stuck in AP since then... :(
