If he refuses to sign even after speaking to an immigration lawyer your best bet is to file for divorce and go on with your life. He is not the husband you would want for yourself nor the father figure you should wish for your child.

CR189 is an internal name for I751. So basically it is the same thing as trillium13 said.
Everyone who filed for i751 sees CR189 online.

Quite a few......probably the majority of denials are for this reason.

    Hi Nico25,
I really think you don't understand. But there is no point to argue here. I feel and believe that many people have already given you the answer and telling you that if you or your fiance keep saying you are not engaged or treat yourself as such at the time of the interview you will certainly have issues. The hardest part is trying to tell someone to listen when you don't want to listen and want to hear what you want to hear. I wish you good luck and hope everything goes okay with your case. Best wishes!

Yes Christina, I know very well what you are going through. I have been separated from my hubby for six months now, please continue to encourage him as best you can because this has been indeed a tedious journey but well worth it. Once the visa is in his hand then it will be a much smoother process. I get discouraged often and so does my husband, but we realize that it's too much work to give up on and we love each other too much and someday we'll be together and that is the fuel that keeps us going. Christina, it's very time consuming I know and it seems that if we're already married then it should be priority but it seems as though our waiting is as long or longer than others but we will make it through. Just think of it this way, you guys are not waiting alone and there are plenty of married couples separated and patiently waiting too. We will make it Christina and we have to rely on motivation from others at times. It helps me knowing I am not alone on this journey.
