    Well...Niether yes or no, yet. They asked him for contact information from some neighbors in Ghana and one in Lagos. They asked him to schedule a date for our daughter's mom to come in and have the paper notarized to allow her to immigrate with my husband, and so they can ask her some questions.

    Hubby got hit with sty on his eye to the extent they had to ask him to stay off work 4 few days as he couldn't function maximally with the redness and pain.I got hit with fear of him being rescheduled by the embassy until I remembered that it is GOD who rules in the affairs of men. Saw his beautiful eyes today on skype and they were cleared out. Phew!!!!

      We scheduled an appointment for notary services for this Thursday. Just praying they'll give him an answer at that time, rather than making them come back in for another appointment to find out.

    So, today I received the sweetest thing ever in the mail from my husband......a very large homemade Valentine's day card. It was a surprise! He wrote the sweetest message inside and had cut out pictures of us together and put that on the card. Specifically our trip to Obudu from last Valentine's day. I've never received something so thoughtful and meaningful before. I had been waiting for his national ID card to arrive in the mail so I can file my taxes. Only took a mont...

      It is sounding like they may be approved pending that, and like they may call the references Chinedu provided and question them. Better than a denial, but still not quite an approval.

    For my Nigerian peeps when you did medical how many days does it take to get results? I have seen 2 and 4 and a week. Yes people one week and we have done nothing. LOL........What can I say. ;)

      My husband went on Monday and they told him to come back Thursday for results. Has he gone and done medicals now? Praying for quick results and a good interview. So close now. Hang in there!

      I get a little more nervous every day. I hope and pray they will pass, but also realize this is Lagos and it could really go either way. I don't want to think about what it means for our family if they don't get approved, but I can't seem to help it.

    I had wanted to go to Lagos for his interview which will likely be in May, however I have a work related conference to attend early May in Nashville..... I really need to attend this conference to aquire much needed CEU's for my profession.... Really wish I could be with him even for support....OH well, whats a woman to do.... but keep on keeping on!!!!

Texted blank or symbols, phone we can't hear each other. Devil you are a lie. But I am frustrated. But still smiling.;)

      I feel your pain! They're having the same type of network/power issues in Ghana. I try to console myself with the fact that the interview is getting so close.
