  1. Hello,

I am currently getting the information together for my mother's application. She has not worked and has not file taxes since 2007. Does she has to present some sort of explanation of why no taxes has been file (again, she has not work since that time). I was thinking that she does not need to present anything because she has nothing to file taxes for.

Thanks in advance for the help provide it!

  2. Hello guys,

we are approved as well. I am glad that many people from our group are getting approvals. Eric and I were getting nervous about the long time everything was taking.

Application Type: I485 , APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS
Your Case Status: Card/ Document Production
On July 29, 2013, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you. If we need something from you we will contact you. If you move before you receive the card, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.

  3. Hello guys!!!!

This is depressing. We still haven't received any notice about Eric's green card. I thought most of you guys were approved by now, but I see that we are not alone in this. Eric has been calling every 2 weeks. Last time he was told to call in the nest two weeks if nothing was happening. They were processing september 10th....

At least Eric is working and all, but we want to get his state drivers license, which he could do it now. However, we would have to come back to renew it in November. He has an international license, so we rather wait for the green card to get his state license.

This wait is so ridiculous! We just have to be patient

  4. No one can predict the future. If you have a strong relationship and no doubts and you have explained your fiancé how difficult will be for him to move to a different country, then you should be OK. There are always going to be obstacles in any relationship, just be patient with one another. The move to America will be difficult and hard on both of you. Just understand and be there for your significant other.

  5. Folks, some countries don't give copies of the DS-3025. They put all that information in the sealed package. I was told by other members from other countries to have my husband ask about this copy, but the doctor and everyone in the place told him they don't provide. Then, by other members from the same country was informed that Peru doesn't give a copy of the medical. This is totally oK. The CO at POE should send all that information from the sealed package to immigration.

  6. If you want to spend lots of money or need to send documents ASAP: use Fedex

otherwise use USPS priority express mail. It costs 38$ and get a tracking number from them. It takes about 3 days to reach Lima and 2 more days to be ready for pickup.

    Good luck,

    MERIC
