I think it may be the nerves and emotions as well. My husband and I bumped heads alot right before he came. He doesn't drink or party, but the few weeks before the inerview he was out late at his cousins or uncles house which he used to not do and it bothered me as well.. but I understood it's also because he would be leaving them all soon. You guys have a child together. Running may be the easiest choice, but not the wisest at this point in time. Hopefully things work out for you!

Hello Speed and pereira! I like to say a baby together is like a ace in the hole. Once I made references to my wife carrying our baby, the interview was over and visa approved. I don't think that was a coincendence. Although, nothing is 100%, this is about as close as you can get. I look forward to your approvals!

It's more detailed than I-134, but K-1 filers used that instead of I-864.

I mean many K-1 filers used the I-864 istead of the I-134. Because I did the CR-1, I don't have actual experience with it, but i've read up on it from other places and people.

Hi..If they need to do a DNA test they will send you to an office they have assigned for that..they won't take your DNA results if you have one so save your money and unfortunately thats one of those things that you won't know if you'll need till they request it..G'luck!

You don't have to call DR. You call NVC or department of state. Probably the same number you've been calling. I used to call everyday and ask if there was an update on my case or if there was interview scheduled yet.

It may never show. Wait for the notice by mail and then its official!

For K-1, every applicant send their petition to the lockbox in Dallas, then they forward it to either California or Vermont Service Center. After it's being approved (NOA2), the service center forwards it to the National Visa Center (NVC), and then to your embassy.

You have to wait....once he's approved for the visa, he comes here, you get married, and it is suggested that you start the AOS process as soon as you can after marriage. During the submission of the AOS documents is when you will submit the I-864. Don't bother to gather that now because the info needs to be current.

I've never heard of it either. I wanted to use our joint account to transfer money, but we got it pretty late in the game so I never tried. I started out using MoneyGram, but got tired of having to make time to get to a location. So I opened another checking account and gave him the debit card and pin. When necessary, I transferred money to that account and he went to the ATM.

I was also going to do what BCB did but I got lazy...lol

oh ok i didnt think of that ....I guess I could also leave him one of my debit cards over there, I have two now and dont really use my old one!! That might work lol I'll let you know what I decide. I was considering what s&j said about just making transfers from my account to his as he has a banco popular account ;-)

you can do affidavit by yourself. Don't waste $$ on a lawyer. After NOA2 just start gathering your evidence for the interview and getting it organized.
