  1. since i'm in PA, its been all over the news most of the afternoon. its horrific and sad. :(

i couldn't sit here and watch all the coverage, its just too heartbreaking, then it makes you angry that those precious little lives were snatched away.

  2. Maggots....just the looking at the word makes me heave..... :dead: you can imagine my horror when I discovered my son had put a tub of them in my fridge for a fishing trip and didn't secure the lid!!! I found them everywhere and in the milk.............<shudder>

omigosh my skin is crawling just thinking about it.... i would probably shove the fridge outside and burn it! ewwwwwwwww

i hate maggots, roaches, mice, roadkill... bees & wasps just because i hate being stung...

and bones... if someone is talking about breaking bones or something like that, it makes me really uncomfortable. like my own bones start to ache.

and puke... if i hear or see it, i will be sick too.

worst of all is public bathrooms... unless the place is clean, dry and odor-free, i will probably be sick. i usually avoid them like the plague (except for ikea, their bathrooms are always nice).

  3. jigga got one ear pierced when he was 16. but by the time we met in college, he was already sick of it. unless his school has some objection to it (especially because an earring will have to stay in for a month or 2 till the hole heals), it shouldn't be a big deal. if Luz is seriously opposed to it, then so be it. maybe she will reconsider when he is 16.

  4. :time:

Without your timeline filled in, it's confusing. It sounds like you had your Biometrics 1 or 2 days ago and your interview in July.

my bad lovelypepy :D ... you didn't say you did your interview already. since you did, i guess you were waiting for FBI clearance since then???? you have to be a bit more specific so we understand just what's going on or else (like me ) we make (right or wrong) guesses.

  5. hi everybody:)we're excited:)!!!!!!!we've just checked the portfolio and it has been touched!!!! (the AOS)

yes! today! the same day after the biometrics done and after putting back the files together in the system,

question 1) what should we wait for coming the following days?

a)notice of approval? b)welcome to america's letter? c)EAD? d)GC?

can we really feel excited and say at least a little "yahoo" ,or not yet? hihi:)

please ,some opinions or personal experiences

    thank you very much

    bye :luv:

wait a minute... i don't wanna rain on your parade.... but its quite common to get touched right after biometrics. that doesn't mean that you will be approved in a matter of DAYS. have you been transferred to CSC for faster processing without interview? because if not, you still have to wait on your DO to send you an interview date which could be anywhere from a month to several months away.

you can be glad that your case was touched, which means someone's at least glancing at it, but don't get all hyper that the GC is on the way already. realistically, you have some time yet to cool your heels. good luck!

  6. Congrats to all the new approvals!!! CSC has finally woken up!!

Quick question, you know how at the green card interview, they take away your I-94 and such? What do we do with it since we didnt have an interview? Just throw it out?

Definitely hold on to it. You can remove it from your passport, but then file it! :)

won't they take it from you the next time you go to travel internationally?

  7. got my green card today... the picture looks horrible (why didn't they use the ones i sent instead of the ones from biometrics? ugh).

everything is spelt correctly so i'm so happy!

a few more hours in CSCs day... hoping for good things for jeeleebee, charsiimogen, carlosandsimone, littlemo_nosleep's kids, kaffykat, gsmaclean and everyone else who's waiting so patiently! :luv:

  8. the b*tchy girl always stays for a while to keep the drama going so i don't see monique getting ousted any time soon. unless she REALLY does something outrageous and the judges find out. i am hoping anchal, melrose or eugena kick her butt. that thing with the phone was worth opening a can of whoop ###.

i am rooting for anchal too.

and someone needs to tame tyra's big weave/wig... its starting to scare me.

  9. yodrak.

I also like michael's a lot...i didn't get what was so terrible about it...I didn't like Uli's...I mean I didn't think it was THAT different from her usual...but I wonder if I like michael's because it's good or because I just really like him.

Who is ya'lls money on for fan favorite?

I say Michael. Everyone loves him.

i guess the judges were so harsh because for the final task, i think we all expected them all to go above and beyond. no one did. it was all pretty mundane and uninspired.

i don't think anyone's outfit was bad, except jeffrey's, and i don't think michael should have been in the bottom 2. should have been jeff and laura (didn't she do that dress in black last week?).

i hate when they have these twists, but i will live with it since it probably saved michael's butt. :D

can't wait to see their collections!

i want michael to win. and i think he will also win fan favorite.

the reunion show is gonna be HOT!

  10. :D
