Hi k3 filers. I also get frustrated. I am so sick of waiting for our approval. I also wonder why k1 is faster than k3. Servie Center don't consider what we feel for our husband/wife who is waiting for us to be with them. Sometimes, I wanna give up for waiting but I shouldn't have to. My husband is getting old waiting for me.

We filed the petition last June and how come July-Dec got their NOA's 2 after a couple of weeks? Oh man, looking at the timeline of others is killing me.

Hi everyone on here. Last Dec08, USCIS updated our status that they emailed RFE. We got the mail a week later then we send the said RFE's only this month. So anyone can tell me how long does it really takes before they update our status? We're almost 7 months since my hubby filed the I-130. I am so sick of checking our status everyday. HI Richard, don't worry the expiration is until 3 months. So, you have a lot of time to prepare for your RFE's. GodBless

I went to the USCIS webssite on Tuesday and saw this message "REQUEST FOR EVIDENCE On January 10, 2012, we mailed a notice requesting initial evidence in this case. Please follow the instructions on the notice to submit the evidence requested". I really thought I would have received the hard copy by now to start compiling the requested info. Maybe I'm just impatient but should I be worried that I didnt receive it yet? Its coming from Vermont and I live in Florida but its been 4 days and of course, the mail is not running on Monday in observance of MLK Day. Maybe someone can enlighten me on this and give me an idea of how soon the deadline will be. Thanks all !

You can call USCIS and ask for a service request.

You can also call USCIS and ask them what month they are currently processing from to get an idea of the approximate status they are at.

Generally it takes max 5 month. Did you call to their department?

wow.. 5 months? That's what I am expecting last month but we didn't hear any from USCIS. I told my hubby to call them but still no response, he said that he is wasting time to call them, only intercom answer his calls.

HI hello everyone here. I just want to know for those who already approved their petitions. My husband filed a form I-130 this June 2011. He got the form 727 or NOA receipt. We always checked the status of that form but still in "initial review". Why it says there that the processing time of this form is 5.5 months. Our form is ahead of 5.5 months. I am losing hope and patience, pls help. Thanks
