  1. Ok. To make the long story short, here's my question: Is it really need to attend the CFO seminar? When is the best date to go, after the visa interview or before the interview? I am planning to go medical this last week of the month (what would be the best day for this?)Just curious, that is why I am asking this kind of query. I already read some thread regarding this matter, I already have birth cert, marriage cert, ID's, passport, and what else do I need to bring aside from that? Payment maybe. How about pictures? PLease share :)

    Thanks in advance.

  2. Hi guys.. I got an email this early morning containing an infos for interview sched and stuff to bring. a little confusion when I noticed that they used my maiden name on that email and not my married name. Would that be ok? Since my husband filed the I-130 he used my married name. Maybe, they get the info from my passport? I have my unexpired passport and it is valid until 2014.

  3. What I wanted to know is about the questions does the CO ask during the interview. Does anyone here shared thier journey during their interview and what questions they asked from you? Thanks so much in advance.

  4. Hi everyone again. I just want to know if the NVC will going to send a packet or letter of instructions (including form I-864EZ) after paying the AOS bill? It's been a months since my husband paid the AOS, unluckily no letter yet from them. Or maybe after he pay the other bill which is the IV fee? I really don't have an idea about this, he asked me to read some of this part then we will talk when he got home from work, if he can do something. I read about the AOS processing and the form he need is the I864ez and I also browse the IR site, he need W-2 form? Please help to get this through guys. Thanks in advance :)

  5. Hi everyone again. My petitioner pay the AOS fee bill, got receipt of it I think 2 weeks ago. Does the NVC send him an email or mail of any forms to fill up? Or he need to pay the IV fee before they send any to my husband? I am just curious and want to know what is the next process. I don't know if I have to ask this because I am just the beneficiary. Can you please something that you have been through?

    Thanks so much.

  6. get on the computer now and email them a typed up form that says what the form you sent says

I do not care if he is not ready

you should just email your agent of choice

You will end up making this much harder process then it is

    Email it to nvcinquiry.gov

I am not sure if your country does electronic filing but there are different rules for that if they do it

Should I do that? This is what I thought last night that is why I couldn't sleep. Is it ok that the barcode I am going to make is no letter before the 10 digit numbers? (MNLxxxxxxxxxx)Just trying to make using the barcode generator in wiki and print it.

Thanks so much togetherforever13, this helps alot. This is really the answer I am waiting for.. I am going to print the form, generate a new code, print, scan, sign and email it out. Right?

  7. Hello everyone. I filled out the ds-3032 and sent it back through post office. I am pretty sure that they will get that mail after a month. But I am not worry if it takes so long as long as they will recieve it. Because my hubby need to gather all the docs he needs. By the way, what I am worry is the envelope which I sent the form back, is that ok that I used the brown envelope instead of white envelope? I hope everything will be fine, and hope NVC will not be picky in each envelope they recieved. :D

  8. did you talk to a Human or the AVR thingie ?

did you give email addresses on you and your husband?

the forms you need are available for download.

No need to wait on postal anything -

but - the switch is NOT ON at NVC

    until

Your husband receives the DS-3032 kit in his email (the AOS fee bill will be in that email or the one right after) .

Doesn't matter if you have an IIN yet - what matters is the AOS fee bill hitting his email inbox.

We have some wiki pages, guides, and a monthly NVC thread - have you seen any of this stuff?

Aside from the email I got this morning, I also received mail from NVC. 5 pages, including NVC case number, visa info, DS-3032,my invoice ID # and my beneficiary ID #. Do I need to fill up the form online or just fill the form which is barcoded with my case number but the expiration is 12/31/2006? CHOICE OF AGENT AND ADDRESS- I will appoint my husband to be my agent, does it mean I don't need to pay my visa here?

Yes Darnell, I read some of the guides right after we got our NOA2.

  9. Yeah Congrats

You have to give NVC your emails so they can email you when the bills are ready to be paid and the papers needed to be sent in. They will send like reminder emails or something like that

So, call them and give emails

Get your Invoice Identification number too

and if you have 88 dollars-get online and pay the fee from and american bank in usa or find someone to do it. He has to send in the papers for AOS I-864

    good luck

Thanks for the info you gave togetherforever13, it helps a lot. I did emailed them for how many times and I finally got theer reply just when I got up this morning.

  10. no word at all?

ok - first step is for him to CALL IN , get a Human, and get the NVC case number, exchanging emails with the tele-operator (gives two, one on you, on one yer husband)

    then

in a few days, the ds-3032 kit will show up, having the AOS fee bill in it, all in his EMAIL (nothing postal mailed here).

Get that started, first, then let us know what's what.

Thanks Darnell for this info. He don't want to make a call unles he got the mail form them, this is what he told me. I will take his part to call them tomorrow. I will let you know what will happen. Once again, thanks everybody for your suggestions and comments.

  11. I received a letter in the mail, but i had already called the line and receive it from the automated service line. Then a few days later they billed me for the AOS. You can call and give them your info. or send an inquiry via email. They will respond. You just want the case number, your husband requesting the information will not expedite the service time.

Thanks so much 'The Moxey's'. Now I don't have to worry about it. I thought they really need a call. I already emailed them but all I got is an AUTO RESPONSE, I don't know if I made it wrong. I put our USCIS receipt # in a subject line then asked about what is my case number and invoice number. Could you please send me a pattern or a sample what do I put in a body message?

  12. I just want to know if anyone of you recieved mail/letter from NVC without calling them after 30 days to get the case #? In our case, my husband will wait for the letter/mail from them. It's been 1 month and 11 days now from our approval. Money is so tight right now, so all he can do is wait for that letter/mail before take an action. I am getting old in thinking about this stuff, I don't know if they really need a call before they process the paper. Please can somebody share what you been through about this process? Thanks.
